If you’re traveling to or from the Smoky Mountains from the Midwest and craving authentic Indian food, this restaurant is a perfect stop. The food quality is top-notch, with a buffet that offers a great variety, especially for vegetarians. Every dish is flavorful and well-prepared, making it a delight for Indian cuisine lovers. One of the highlights is their Indian-style tea—rich, aromatic, and just what you need for a refreshing break. And don’t miss the garma garam gulab jamun; it’s the perfect sweet treat to end your meal on a high note. The location is extremely convenient, right off the highway, making it an easy and quick stop for travelers. Plus, they offer free parking, which is always a bonus. Whether you’re on a road trip or just passing through, this place is definitely worth a visit!
If you love Indian food, or even if you don't go there. They offer a buffet during the day which is very unique and they have a full menu. If you have ever been curious about indian food go during buffet hours so you can sample some amazing dishes.
This is our go to Indian restaurant. We typically go during their buffet hours so we can try a variety of items. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. You can tell that the dishes have a great depth of flavor and have been simmering to develop the flavors. The last time we went almost all of the tables were taken but that did not affect the service. They work as a group to make sure drinks stay full and dirty plates are removed quickly. Friendly service as well.
The food here is really good! Always look forward to coming here when I’m craving Indian food! The chicken biryani, garlic naan, butter chicken and lamb is soo good!
My fiancé and his family took me here as it is their favourite Indian restaurant. I was blown away by the food and atmosphere here! The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. It has super high ceilings, large windows, long curtains, beautiful lighting, and gorgeous Indian decor (such as carved wooden elephants and lilies). Our server was friendly, and the chef who brought out our food on a tray was such a dear! I could tell he was so proud and passionate about the dishes he was serving, and you could definitely taste it in his food! I got their Butter Chicken, which was served in a beautiful brass bowl with a plate of rice on the side. We all got their Garlic Naan to split, and my fiancé got their Tandoori Shrimp. Everything was absolutely DIVINE! My dish was creamy, spicy, and the chicken was so tender. Scooping it up with the Garlic Naan was the perfect combination. My fiancé, his parents and I came back for their AYCE buffet, which is one of the highlights of this restaurant. I got to try a large variety of their other dishes including their chutneys, lamb curry, chilli chicken, chicken biryani and salads. I can’t wait to come back for more!
This is a great spot in Lexington for a lunch buffet! The price was reasonable and there were plenty of options of good food. It was also nice that they were regularly bringing out fresh food while we were there.
Amazing taste and nicely prepared food. Nice ambience. The food tasted really good. Loved that the restaurant has kept the food completely authentically north indian which most of the places miss or overdo! The paneer gravy wasn’t over creamy or over spicy and the dal wasn’t undercooked or had too much ghee/fat which is a perfect thing to do! We ordered saag paneer, dal tadka and roti! Dal was the best by the looks and by the taste, saag paneer also tasted just right! Roti could be a little better and softer (8.5/10). It did take a little time for the staff to get the food, or the roti we ordered the second time, and dal and curry got cold. One of their servers was giving some judgemental looks, which was weird, so service can definitely be improved. They also serve complimentary papad, with some chutney, which were oily. We didn’t eat those. Overall, nice place, great taste, can be a permanent option to come whenever we are traveling towards I-75 S (very near to the highway and is just a 12 min detour).
