Gopuram Taste of India

They had a vast variety, which was pleasing as I did not know what to order. The buffet was small portions refreshed often. I am assuming it was the owner showed great hospitality and gratefulness for supporting the establishment. My only regret was waiting till my last night in town to dine.

Nice service, big buffet, tasty dosa! We are very thankful to the chef who admit samosas are vegan although fried in oil where paneer is done. That level of transparency is truly appreciated 🤍

This is truly a 10/10 location. Interior is clean, warm, and mellow with Hinde classics playing in the background. Food was fantastic. Every item is fresh and sizzling. Huge selections including goat curry, sheikh kabobs, and chicken biryani. Savory selection of soups and sides/dips are simply unmatched. Top it all off with desert. The mango custard with cuts of apple was the highlight for me, and the rice pudding was cold comforting. Not too sweet, and rests well in your stomach. Service was great also. Very attentive to everyone. Coming from NJ, and eating at dozens of Indian restaurants, I did not expect the best Indian buffet so far to be in OKC. But this location simply cannot be beat for their low price to high quality. Will be coming back.

Pleasant surprise right on I40. We were driving across the states when we chanced upon this. Buffet was fantastic. From Sambar to gravy items and more, the food was just great. Even ordered 4 rotis to go on the way. Very affordable. Owner was very pleasant. Great ambience with pictures of Gopurams of different temples in India.

Wow - what a find! I was driving around trying to find a spot that wasn't fast food in Meridian and what a gem! Well worth your time. I was surprised to see that they had a buffet at night and then looked and saw how "small" it was. Well, it is small, but compact with lots of choices with a little bit in each one. If you wanted more, they made it fresh on the spot and brought it to you! Bread too! Talk about fresh - I ate way too much for a reasonable price. I will make a point of visiting again when I come for work to OKC.

This is my favorite Indian cuisine restaurant and it never disappoints. Great food, wonderful and friendly service and an awesome variety to choose from. Their Chicken Tikka Masala is well seasoned and tasty, their Goat Curry and Tandoori Chicken are also very well prepared and very tasty. Would definitely recommend both. Very good vegetarian options available also. Will definitely come back again and again, highly recommend!

We have been enjoying Gopuram for years but this was a location we had not been before and we arrived kind of late...8pm and mid week. This is a buffet and some of the serving dishes were empty but we asked our waiter for what we wanted and were served promptly. Several more tables of customers came in behind us and then service was great, everything was hot. The manager came by to make sure everything was okay. I requested a Mediterranean tea, which they did not offer. I asked for a pot of tea with 2 cups. They brought 2 cups of tea. Overall this was good. We do recommend them but better to arrive during the dinner hour.
