Little India Fine Dining

The best Indian restaurant around Salt Lake City. Excellent food. Appetizers were tasty, full of flavor and not soggy. The soup was creamy. We had a biryani and the lamb was so good. Highly recommended.

The ICE CREAM!!! It’s a religious experience. So much that I asked the man who makes the desserts to marry me! (We’re both already married, but I would leave my husband for the recipe!!). Tandoori chicken is my favorite dish, such a rich Smokey flavor! Ranjit was our server and he was very attentive to our table, always checking in with us! He needs a raise! Best Indian food around!

Look there is food and then there is magic- This was MAGIC! Every bite was an emotional religious symphony of sensations I have only read about. Butter chicken sauce is irresistible. Tandoori chicken felt smoky, rich, the peppers and onions sang to me! Chicken briyani tasted like heaven wept to miss it. Poetics aside, I couldn’t stop the spoon aiming at my face because it was utterly delicious (understatement)….then before I could barely recover from this rapture of culinary ecstasy…the ICE CREAM! Pistachio and mango in shiny silver dishes had a jaunty mint leaf…it was like tasting Christmas, childhood memories, strudel, and you can’t fathom how you lived before eating this! So….consider yourself warned, my tablemate proposed after her first ice cream bite (and not to me)….Please, come. Come delve into the veils of flavor. Come and feast and then amble away, full and weepy with wonder aghast at why you bother eating anywhere else. Ranjit was attentive, friendly, accurate and so polite. The service and ambience are impeccable. The owner made a table visit and for once, I had a meal worthy of the Gods. Thank you. Marry me.

Oh my goodness, the reviews are all so true. This food is amazing, the service by Raj was great. We have had the butter chicken, pineapple, chicken, chicken saag and onion naan and the regular naan. UPDATE: I went again to this place because it was amazing. Before, this time I tried the mango chicken and I believe everyone that lives in this area should go and try this chicken so they can have happiness in their life too. Soooo good!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! This place just felt like a home away from home and the food was immaculate, the mango drinks were so delicious, even the water came in the cutest cups! The paintings on the walls are incredible and the service was the best!!!!! Amazing vegan options and some of the best vegan Indian food I’ve ever had! They even clearly label vegan as well as have a vegetarian/ vegan menu list. Love this place and will return next time I’m in town! And if it’s a bit farther, I will say it’s worth any drive over going to a place closer to you!

It is amazing how consistently good Little India is. Great authentic food from the Punjab India region. If you haven’t tried you need to. Go see Mani and team in restaurant or order out. Mango Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Makhani are awesome. Enjoy!
