As soon as you walk in, your mouth starts to water if you enjoy good Northern Indian cuisine. It's a simple place with great food and decent customer service (just one woman). It's not economical - $20 to $30 per person. We really enjoyed our meals
I was looking to try this new Indian food restaurant in downtown St Pete after it popped up on my social media feed. The staff was very attentive and the food was very flavorful. Exactly what I expected. I will definitely be back.
Such a lovely Indian lunch served here. Cloth napkins were an unexpected touch. We ordered papads and vegetable samosas to start. We then shared a butter chicken with garlic naan as a main course. The masala chai was delicious. This is your very typical Indian restaurant in America. Unlike some of the local creative twists on Indian cuisine, if you are a more of a classic culinary connoisseur, this is your spot. The server and all staff were kind and accommodating. I thought the value was great.
Friendly staff, loved they offer several vegan dishes and a couple of vegan appetizers. I had the Aloo Gobi, medium spicy, very good. Cauliflower and potatoes in a beautiful sauce. And the samosas appetizer was Wonderful! I wanted a plateful as dinner.
Really yummy chicken Tikka masala, with a generous amount of chicken. The naan was tasty too! My husband enjoyed his chicken salad. we are definitely looking forward to eating here again. The service was timely, and the decor was pleasant 😃
Fantastic experience at Malai Indian Cuisine. Tried the samosa chaat, chicken madras, and lamb vindaloo—everything was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Service was quick and friendly, making the whole meal even better. Definitely coming back!
Finally a good Indian restaurant in downtown. Being of Indian origin, we are very picky of our food. The Saag Paneer and rotis were excellent. We also got a Chilli paneer as an appetizer. Lots of vegetarian options, but also good for the carnivore. Definitely a restaurant we will come in back to regularly.
