What a gem! My husband and I found this place while on retreat in the mountains and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to have lunch! Not only is this restaurant beautiful- really, from the color palette, to the plateware and flatware - but the food was excellent. Don’t skip the coffee either! The service was just as inviting and sincere. We have a few more days in the area and are planning to come back!
Amazing ambience, amazing drinks, and food. Ordered mango chilly margarita, it was too good! It was rimmed with tangy spice. Ordered dal makhani and matar paneer, garlic naan for dinner. I loved it all. Dal makhani tasted more like dal mughlai. Matar paneer was creamy, it was really good! Garlic naan was crispy and thin. Asked for side of onions and chilly. Would love to visit again.
Beautiful space, and wonderful attentive staff. I really enjoyed the fresh flowers on the table and the candles at the bar. We got the butter chicken, lamb kebab, garlic naan, chai, madras coffee, shareable chaat plate, and kulfi and it was all incredibly delicious. 10/10 would recommend :3
Very pleased with our dining experience at Nirvana. Food was beautifully presented and flavors were great. Service was also very good. We will be back. Lucky to have this place near us!
I’ve eaten twice here and both times the experience was top notch. It’s the best Indian cuisine I’ve had besides my chef friend’s creation. And the interior and atmosphere is just right. I feel so lucky that this restaurant is here in Woodstock. Everyone should try this place when visiting Woodstock.
Sincerely the best Indian I've had in while. The last time was when I lived in Highland Park, NJ, next to Edison, NJ, six years ago. Even the best restaurants in NYC don't come close to Nirvana (I was probably too spoiled by my year in NJ). It didn't feel heavy for my stomach, even though I was more than filled. We had the truffle kulcha (twice!!!) with the vegetarian chickpea/mushroom dish + palak paneer type of dish. The rice was also delicious, buttery with fried onion on top. Beautiful quality of food and service. We were thoroughly impressed.
AMAZING drinks and food! Please get the “chaat for the table” you won’t regret it. Everything was impeccable - can’t wait to come back!
