When you first walk in the wonderful smells of the food hits all your senses. The place is very colorful and welcoming. My daughter took me out to lunch there this week. My daughter had the Bollywood Bowl (basmati rice, curried chick peas, fresh spinach, slaw, yogurt raita sauce and added chicken), I had the Naanwich (buttermilk naan, fresh spinach leaves, tangy slaw, yogurt raita sauce with a side of chick peas and rice. We shared a Mango Lassi, which is a mango yogurt smoothie - let me tell you that smoothie is delicious. Everything we ordered was eye candy - so fresh and colorful and tasted so good. They offer a lot of vegan dishes and for meat eaters, they have chicken and lamb. I will definitely be a returning customer!

My wife and I were craving Indian and heard good things about this place. We absolutely loved it! They do a more modern take on Indian with their "bollywood bowls" and other iterations of traditional Indian dishes like a currito. The goat curry was by far my favorite. Chicken was fantastic as well though. The naan bread was perfectly baked as well and very tasty with a few options for flavors. Highly recommend for a quick meal that scratches that Indian food itch

Different fusion of Indian food on American soil. The taste was lovely - Didn't expect it will taste this much good - All the items were exceptionally made. Nice mix of Indian bases. Staff were very sweet and helpful. Environment was lovely too and able to see different set of people coming and tasting the food. Really recommend this place when you are around.

If you have not yet tried the deliciousness that is the Twisted Indian, you must run, to try this restaurant. Very hole in the wall type of place but very good! The food is so flavorful, and the menu is such a unique take on classic Indian cuisine. Plenty of drink options from sodas, lassis, to beers. The sauces are very hot and spicy!! So many options for all dietary needs including vegan/vegetarian, meat-loving & gluten free palettes. Enjoy!

I have been wanting to try Twisted Indian for over a year now, all the way back when they were just a food truck - and finally decided to go there for dinner. Indian is by far one of my favorite kinds of foods, so I was very excited to see an Indian fusion restaurant pop-up in the bay. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Twisted Indian. This restaurant is a fast/casual dining experience compared to a more fancy sit down restaurant - the interior is well decorated, if not a little bare-boned. Given that this isn’t a full-blown restaurant, the accents were well placed and definitely more than you would expect from other restaurants like this. You do order at the counter, and in my case the woman brought our food to our table. The food was amazing, I got the Chicken Tikka Currito, and my partner got the Chicken Tikka bowl - with the Garlic Naan to share. I have absolutely no complaints about the food - it was beyond my expectation. They have a spicy Serrano hot sauce that went perfectly with our entrees. On top of that, it was just over 5 minutes from ordering and all of our food was ready. The woman working the counter has amazing people skills, she was very nice and was able to juggle the dining room quite well. I am very excited to return and try out some more unique items from their menu. Can’t say there are any another Indian Fusion restaurant like this in the bay.

One of our go-to places for a comforting bite. I love snagging the paneer currito and a mango lassi - my fiancé enjoys the chicken nannwich and Bollywood bowl. Consistently delicious food with great customer service and easy-breezy take out option when you don’t have the time to enjoy in the cozy dining area! Love this place ❤️🔥💎

Was visiting the downtown area and stopped in here. Omg so yum. The chat fries are awesome. The tacos amazing. I’m vegan so the many options made me happy. Please open a location in New Jersey!!
