Clay Oven Indian Cuisine in Reno

Fantastic gem serving Indian food in Reno. Don't let their serving such delicious food out of a gas station dissuade you from enjoying their well-crafted meals. Each time I've ordered I've been completely satisfied. The food is so delicious and the spice is just right (they'll spice it to whatever level you like). The portions are large enough to share or have a couple of meals for leftovers. I usually order take out when I'm working, and the food always comes packaged with care and thoughtfulness. The prices are reasonable. I'm so glad I've found my go to for Indian food in Reno. I'd recommend ignoring the reviews that give one star because they don't offer dining in (they didn't even eat there) and those that blame the restaurant for ordering the wrong items.

Hands down the best Indian Food I’ve EVER had, especially in Reno. I ordered the pakora, samosa, and the butter chicken and everything was amazing. The two sauces for the pakora were so flavorful; the way they serve the samosa is so unique and absolutely delicious; the butter chicken was smooth and so flavorful. 10/10 do recommend; I don’t think I can order Indian food from anywhere else in town ever again

I'm surprised and impressed by the food. Don't let the gas station scare you. Got kadai lamb & goat curry. Both are delicious and didn't disappoint. However, they were both a bit on the oily end. Need a lot of rice to soak up the sauce.

Food here is great…butter chicken is hands down the best in reno/sparks. The biryani is so full of masala that when we get it, we mix it with the plain white rice they give along with the butter chicken. Not a lot of options on the menu, but whatever they do, they do good. The portion size on the biryanis is pretty good (serves 2 for sure) and they are also a good option to consider for catering or bulk orders. They operate out of a gas store, so no seating/dine in.

In town for work, spotted the menu while stopping in the store, took a quick picture then after work ordered some butter chicken for dinner Absolute fire, sneakily amazing Indian food spot in the little store, will be coming back next time I'm working in Reno.

Best Indian food hands down in Reno. Period. They're polite and always have my wife and i's food ready within 15 minutes. We usually order the butter chicken with an extra side of rice because it's so much food. Also, never forget to get the garlic Naan bread to dip. Don't walk, RUN there now. Trust me.

This place is so welcoming and so so delicious! My husband has made life long friends with the workers. The food never ever disappoints our favorite is the butter chicken with garlic naan for the side. Highly recommend!
