Super clean and bright restaurant, immediate friendly service. The food is absolutely fantastic , I'm not sure of the name of the appetizer but it was light and fresh with mint sauce. Lamb Vindaloo for entree and was not disappointed. We will return for sure. Delicious.
Awesome place. Loved our meal. Tasty!! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We will definitely return.
We had a birthday last `Sunday and we are vegan, so our son let pick up some food and it was delicious, a little bit to spicy for me but that was not the fault from the restaurant because you can pick the level of spice, we took mild but I can’t handle spice but again, it was my own fault. The food was totally great, enough for more people then we had at home and we for sure will eat from there again. There are not many vegan places in Cookeville and that’s why we never going out for dinner here. Glad our son ordered it and we found a place where we can eat in the future.
Very good food!!! The service was outstanding. I got the chicken vindaloo, hot (the hot was actually HOT!!! and that means a lot from me.) Bullet Naan and Garlic Naan. The bread was fresh, the ingredients were fresh, they used real, fresh spices, and it really makes the food pop. 100% will make it a point to eat here often. I also had my first Indian beer, Kingfisher. It was refreshing and a slight sweetness, and it went well with the heat from the Vindaloo.
Really enjoyed eating here while visiting Cookeville. The food was very good and I love Indian food. They even served papadam with the meal for free which is a bonus. I had the butter chicken with garlic naan and chai. I also tried their galub jamun which was a bit too sweet . The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The food came out very quickly. Definitely recommend this place if you are traveling through Cookeville.
It is a very beautiful and clean place. The atmosphere is inviting and spacious. Persis has a very large menu with many options on how you would like your plate. The naan is made fresh and tastes delicious. It is a very authentic and versatile place to eat. I would recommend dining here.
My friend and I, found this gem while on a road trip. We came in around opening time. Very clean, bright, and neat. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Food was absolutely amazing, excellent service. Very authentic eastern indian food. Would highly recommend. I would eat here often but I live three hours away. Saw a review about under cooked food. Everything we had was fully cooked and nicely put together.
