All the food we got was good, but the samosas and naan really stood out! Eating here feels very much like eating a home cooked meal at someone’s house. The atmosphere is very calm. The prices are extremely reasonable and the quantities are appropriate too. Some dishes take a while to come out, but you can understand immediately that they are freshly prepared. It’s usually a red flag if you order a dish at a restaurant and it’s sitting in front of you in less than 10 minutes. Good things come to those who wait. The negative reviews are honestly shocking and so disappointing to me- the food is good.

There is not a better place to eat Indian cuisine in the Cookeville area. The food and hospitality are unmatched! Try the lunch buffet or a delicious dinner. You will not be disappointed! I love the chicken curry and veggie pakora!

Just passing through town with our pup, sat outside and still got very attentive service and phenomenal food. We rarely get good Indian food in small towns but this was an unexpected exception. Highly recommend!

Stopped in to get an early (5pm) vegetarian meal, and got way more. I started with the veggie samosa, which were great. I moved on to the Gobi Makhani (spicy), and was not disappointed. I also ordered the lemon chutney, which was fresh. It was bright and a little sour, and I loved it. I then asked for mango chutney to try and it was smooth and sweet. I was really impressed with the food, and the stories about how they use traditional family recipes. If you like Indian food, and are in Cookeville, you should eat here! I'm impressed, and I'm glad to share my experience with everyone!

First time that I have ever had Indian food and it was amazing! The lady that seated and served my friend and I was very kind and helpful regarding my food allergies (I'm a pain in regards to that) and the food was hearty, warm, and slightly spicy. Highly recommend.

I stumbled across this restaurant while in town for the night for work. So glad I did! Felt totally comfortable and welcome as a lone diner, asked for a recommendation between two dishes and was not disappointed. I've eaten quite a bit of Indian food and this ranked among the top. Especially the garlic naan hot from the stove. Yum! Great value for the amount of food you receive as well. I easily have enough leftovers for 2 more meals!

The service is absolutely amazing, second to none! The food is so tasty, much better than Persis Indian Grill!! The woman that helped us was so kind and friendly! Everyone should eat here, just for the delicious food, and on top of that service is Five Star!!! Definitely going back every time I'm in Cookeville!!! Try this place out and support the local community!
