UPDATED REVIEW. (for some reason the photos didn’t upload in my last review so I’m updating them.) APR18- I had a great experience when I tried them the first time years ago. I tried two new dishes today, I was not disappointed. They were good. Always good food at this place. They’re never short on flavor. I did forget they send rice so I ended up with so much rice. Oh well, who doesn’t love indian food leftovers! 2years AGO. I ordered through Doordash and I love every dish. Pakora, a vegetable appetizer was good. The garlic Naan was so yummy. The chicken Korma & Tikka Masala were also very delicious. I wish there were more though, just a tad too small for the price. Lol. The entrees come with free rice so we had too much rice because I also got Chicken Biryani- which was so good. All in all it was a great experience. I enjoyed every dish and I definitely recommend this place. 👍🏻
Having traveled around the world and tasted true, authenticate variations of staple dishes to different regions, I find it extremely hard to find food that comes even close to "authentic" outside of a cheesburger here in the US, let alone Idaho. India House Authentic Cuisine is just that - extremely authenticate and UNBELIEVABLY delicious Indian cuisine. This restaurant is a diamond in the rough considering how hard it is to find even remotely decent food around here, so to find something as flavorful and true to its roots is truly rare. The service was also exceptional. We were in and out with our bellies stuffed with magic in under 20 minutes. Indian culture is very warm and hospitable; the folks that run this restaurant were no exception. I will definitely be frequenting this restaurant to experience and support their culinary expertise for years to come. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Amazing.
India House Authentic Cuisine in Post Falls is a true gem! The food tasted just as amazing as what I had when visiting India. I ordered the chicken biryani, and it was absolutely delicious—gluten- and dairy-free but definitely not flavor-free! The restaurant itself is spotless and modern, including the bathroom, which is always a plus. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. Our food arrived quickly, and I appreciated the relaxed atmosphere—it wasn’t too crowded or noisy, which made for a very enjoyable meal. I highly recommend India House to anyone looking for authentic Indian food in a welcoming and clean environment. I’ll definitely be back!
I can't believe I haven't written a review for this place before now, this is one of my favorite restaurants! We've visited several times, and order through delivery apps occasionally. I've gone here for my last two birthdays and Valentine's day this year to name some specifics. The music and atmosphere are wonderful, the food is incredible, the staff are attentive, friendly, and lively! I usually order the lamb korma, slight spice, with garlic naan. I also really enjoy their samosas, and my boyfriend gets their chicken korma. The portions are generous, the meat is so tender and flavorful, and I usually leave with enough leftovers for another meal later on! Not to mention the near 2-hours of buzzing post-curry bliss that comes after. You'll be hit with such a wonderful aroma of spices when you walk in the door. We absolutely love it here, and if you've never tried Indian food before, it's a MUST! My favorite type of cuisine, so I definitely recommend them. Thanks to India House for what an amazing experience they always are! See y'all again soon. ♥
Friendly and professional staff. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. Best garlic Naan I've had in this area. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. Definitely making this our go-to spot from now on.
WOW!!! This food is amazing! The first thing you notice when you step through the door is the amazing aromatic smells enticing you in immediately.! I'll admit the menu is a little intimidating, but only because I'm not familiar with classic traditional Indian food. You can taste the love that goes into every dish. Truly one of the most unique flavors I've experienced here is Idaho in the last 5 years. Even if you have a fear of trying something new, get over it!!! Lol. Soooo good!! And the ice cream is worth it too. Never had authentic homemade pistachio ice cream before. We couldn't leave. Definitely should make this place your next stop. We will be back... Definitely😁
I don't usually write reviews, but this place has the BEST Indian food! My son and I love Indian food, and this is our favorite place to go. Today, we ordered the Spinach Pakora, Dal Fry, Lamb Tikka Masala, Chicken Poprika, and Garlic Naan. The flavors and spices were just unbelievable! Everything was cooked perfectly. The Chicken Poprika was cooked in a Tandoor oven, and pure heaven. They are super friendly, and checked on us frequently while we ate. Great place!
