Next level Indian food. Rocky, the Indian host, was fun and KNEW what was good on the menu. I eat healthy, and the whole wheat roti was better than the garlic naan (say what you will) and the Karachi curry bowl (added mixed veggies on top of the ones already there) was UNBELIEVABLE. Came with premium rice and choice of naan. My +1 got coconut curry, very American but very good. OH AND THE MANGO YOGURT DRINK is $7 and so worth it; everyone can share. Lots of leftovers. Best Indian so far, but yes slightly American what can I say. I got a spice level three and it was slightly intense but I loved it.
We had a feast for lunch! We aren't from this area & don't have ANY Indian food options where we live so we decided to try out the mango tree. We have missed having Indian food so much so we ordered a lot and oh my gosh everything was absolutely phenomenal. Starting off, the atmosphere was lovely, cute booths with gorgeous paintings on the walls and traditional music playing overhead. The space is very clean and well taken care of. My husband ordered the masala tea which was super delicious with a spicy zing that I've never had and creamy milk to balance it out. Next we had the appetizer platter (my favorite was the fried fish with the mint chutney) which gives you a little taste of everything. Finally I had the lunch special which included the mango chicken curry (sweet and savory with a lovely red sauce), beef curry (with carmelized onion + brown savory sauce rich with Indian spices), and mushroom rice! My husband ordered the coconut chicken that he loved and absolutely devoured!! Hannah, our server, was honestly the BEST server I've had in a long time. She anticipated our needs before we even said anything! Overall a lovely experience ✨✨✨✨✨✨
We love this place! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the seating allows for private conversations at each table without feeling isolated. The lighting is fantastic: not too dark, but still comfortable and relaxed. The service was top notch. We’re weirdos who can’t eat dairy: they brought us a special menu, gave us recommendations, and even double checked our order before putting it in to confirm that it wouldn’t make us sick. We felt well taken care of and really enjoyed our meal (particularly considering that it was dairy-free, which is not easy to do!!).
First time for me not my first time for my daughter and her family, had a great meal. The portions were spectacular very authentic flavors. The only issue we had was tables not being balanced other than posters leveling them out under the legs and by the end of our meal as the place got busier the smoke from the kitchen sort of flowed into the restaurant dining room area which irritated the eyes of both kids. We had to leave quickly as washing their eyes in the bathroom didn't resolve the irritants. Possible Vent cleaning more often may resolve that but overall the waitresses the hostess everything else was great.
Great location, selection, staff and options. They have plenty of Vegan options and very accommodating. All main dishes come with rice (flavored, large grains) and roti/naan. Staff was super nice, welcoming and accommodating. Plenty of parking space. Service was quick. Tikki in appetizers was a surprise, must try.
This place is actually quite good, and I say actually because honestly I wasn't sure what to expect when I walked in. The food was outstanding, with both original and authentic takes on the dishes we ordered. I always get a mango lassi, and theirs was the first I've had that was seasoned using other herbs and spices. Their butter chicken was awesome, the lamb chops were great, and they make a mean mango sorbet. Will definitely be coming back.
My husband and I just moved here from out of town and were nervous that we wouldn’t find new places to love that served non-American food. We tried The Mango Tree and were blown away! We got SO much food for the price we paid and were treated so well by staff. Everything tasted amazing and authentic. We’ll be back!
