Really like this restaurant! As a big Indian food person I enjoy a lot of the basic items like samosa's and other but Tava also has a lot of unique dishes which were also very good. As will all Indian restaurants there are a lot of vegetarian options and also a lot of healthy options. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the service and staff were very helpful and friendly. Great addition to the Short Pump area. Parking is easy and there is also a nice bar and plenty of comfortable booths and seating. You will love this place!

I googled and searched on Reddit for the best buffet in the Richmond area, and while this seemed like more of a niche choice, I can’t imagine anything being better. This buffet was so good! There are plenty of options for vegetarians, pescatarians, and non veg eaters. There’s a good variety of flavors. The staff was really friendly too!

We recently celebrated our daughter's birthday at TAVA Cuisine of India with a group of 50 people, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff went above and beyond—attentive, friendly, and dedicated to making sure everyone had a fantastic time. From start to finish, the service was seamless, making our celebration truly special. A big thank you to the team at TAVA for helping us create such a memorable day! We highly recommend this venue for small gatherings. It saved us the hassle of booking an expensive hall, and everything was perfectly handled without the need for a separate reservation.

Five star ⭐️ for everything! We had an amazing experience at Tava today as we celebrated our son’s tenth birthday. Since this is a significant milestone, I wanted to make it truly special. From the planning to the execution, the Tava owners were incredibly respectful and responsive. With around 100 guests, everyone unanimously praised the venue and food as the best they could have imagined. On my request, they prepared pasta and chicken fries for the kids, which they absolutely loved. Adults loved all the dishes specially Apollo fish , biriyani , sambar , and ice cream with hot gulab jamun to name a few ! I am truly grateful for everything they did.Oh and my guests loved the masala chai ! It was the perfect drink for a chilly fall afternoon!

A Perfect Valentine’s Day Experience! Visited this place yesterday with my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day, and we couldn’t be more satisfied! The food options were fantastic, the taste was spot on, and the service was exceptional. They made the evening even more special by offering a complimentary dessert to every couple—such a thoughtful touch! What impressed us the most was how they go the extra mile for every occasion. Despite being packed, the staff managed everything smoothly, ensuring every guest felt welcomed. The cocktails were another highlight—unlike many places where they’re just an afterthought, these were truly exotic and well-crafted. We tried the Talapakatti Biryani and a variety of veg and non-vegetarian appetizers, and everything was absolutely delicious. Overall, a great experience with amazing food, drinks, and hospitality. Can’t wait to visit again!

I loved this restaurant, I ate here on the way to Arizona and the food was amazing. I went for the lunch buffet and there were so many good varieties. I loved the chicken dum biryani, the chicken was so soft and juicy with a lot of flavour. The non-veg and veg appetisers were very good too. Adding on, the bar inside was really cool and loved the drinks. I recommend trying the mango sunrise and mint cooler(Non-Alcoholic) I had a great time here and the service was the best I have ever had. I recommend this restaurant to everyone!

WOW, totally amazing dining experience with the Vindaloo Curry Goat. Ordered it extra/Indian spicy and it was VERY hot and flavorful. The cashew/raisin naan bread was also good. I will be back.
