My sister and I have been here a handful of times. Tasty dishes (though I wish they would have brought a little more spice). The complementary Tiffins were pretty solid before the meal. Great sauces! I got the Coconut Shrimp Curry with a piece of Roti- it was amazing! Others got Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, Samosas, and Paneer Tikka Masala. Would love to go back and try more. The Coconut Shrimp Curry was definitely the best though!
The best Indian food I've ever had, to date. And ALL the vegan options. Traveling around the country for work, we've tried too much Indian food to count, this place is phenomenal. Not too spicy, but with SO much flavor, all cooked perfectly. Best pakora. I mean. Wow. I didn't know, I just didn't know. No other place will suffice now. Literally not one complaint. We will be back
Really amazing food! The depth of flavors with the spices used was simply a party in my mouth. Kind greeting upon entry. Very helpful server and a 2nd server checked in as well. I was so surprised even with the rice pudding. I could taste the vanilla bean not extract the actual bean. You have to experience this food!!
My wife had the Veggie Korma lunch, her first Indian cuisine experience. I had the Curry Chicken lunch, Indian spice level. My wife enjoyed hers, even with the new experience. She did need to ask for salt as she said it was a little bland. I did eat the last few bites of hers and it had a good taste. My Chicken Curry was very good, the spice level was good, I could have taken it spicier but that’s just me. Regardless, it was good spice level. The naan was good as well. I’ll be back. My wife did say she would eat there again also.
Ordered Chicken and goat curry and it is really worth for the price $10. It comes with Naan and Rice. The food is not oily and somewhat similar to the home preparation and tasty. The ambience is really nice and they have one of the elegant bars and the place can turn to a great hub if they open till midnight.
India K'Raja is my favorite Indian restaurant in Richmond, hands down. Nicest staff, low prices, amazing food. I always regret not taking a picture but I eat the food too fast. Definitely come for lunch and happy hour! Their holiday meals are amazing, too! If you have never had bullet naan, get it. Also don't be afraid to ask for Indian hot if you like spicy!
We came here on Friday night after their beautiful renovation. They have a great happy hour with $5 craft beers and $1 samosas. Maria was an excellent waitress with fast, friendly and helpful service. Our food was authentic, fresh and super flavorful. Nice portions for the money too! The owners even came by to check on us and make sure we felt welcome.
