This place was perfectly. Came into town for work and this place was within walking distance of my hotel. I wasn't expecting much being close to the Riverwalk but man this place delivered!! Great spices and fresh food!
The food and service were over the top. I have to have Chicken Tika Masala when I try a new Indian place, theirs ranks 5 out of 5 stars. The sauce was plentiful and full of flavor, the chicken was tender and tasty, some places it's a little dry, not here! I was asked how spicy I wanted it, I Like that alot, since I share with my wife, medium heat was required. The garlic naan was just right and was enhanced being dipped into the masala sauce. The veggie samosas were large and very tasty, lot's of veggie filling inside a nice crisp crust. We tried a "new to us" item, a veggie pakora, onion to be exact, onion Bujia......where has this been all my life?! Yum. A short walk from our hotel led us to Indian cuisine nirvana.
The best biryani I have had in the USA! The butter naan was perfectly soft, and the chicken tikka and mango lassi were also very good. Everything was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!
First time there. Had the Curry Lamb, Chicken Wings, Naan. Their Mango lassi . Salad. All meat medium heat. Felt like I had grandparents from India hugging me with food. The spices are aromatherapy for the pallet and belly. Clean meat, not greasy. Good proportions. One order of each enough for two adults and possibly a third. We had food left over.Highly recommend stopping in even if just for naan and mango lassi. I hope they always remain in town.
Great place to dine in for a quick bite. Halal food. Malai tikka reshmi kebab was delicious, its a must try. Customer service was friendly and quick. Will be visiting back soon for more.
Had our Thanksgiving dinner there. The naan was amazing (ordered four baskets and we still wanted more) and the chicken kabob and tomato soup were fabulous. I’d recommend the mixed grill as well. My teenage kids had never had Indian food until that day, they loved it. The employees were great and provided excellent service. Best food we have had in a while. Highly recommend
What a wonderful find in SA! Family of 8 who eat curry in England frequently thought this was the best we have ever eaten! Flavorful, just the right size portions, each dish cooked to exact heat requested. Only thing I missed was the Lassi, which they were out of. Do not let the unassuming building and interior put you off. You will be as surprised as we were by the quality. A+
