Kesar’s-An Indian Thali

Absolutely loved my experience at Kesar’s – An Indian Thali! From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed and seated with care. The thali was a celebration of flavors - fresh, authentic, and deeply satisfying. Every dish tasted like it was made with love. A special shoutout to Manoj, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His attentiveness, kindness, and genuine hospitality made the meal even more memorable. He truly made us feel like valued guests and brought such warmth to the entire dining experience. If you’re looking for a wholesome, delicious Indian meal served with love and care – this is the place to be!

What a fantastic experience! The service was quick, polite, and attentive, making the visit truly enjoyable. The restaurant is spotless, with a fresh and modern ambiance—everything from the walls to the upholstery and utensils felt new and well-maintained. The food was absolutely delicious, with a contemporary menu that reminded me of modern restaurants in India. The appetizers were especially impressive, and the selection of sweets displayed at the entrance was a delightful touch. This is easily one of the best restaurants in the area for me. I’m already looking forward to coming back to try more dishes we couldn’t fit in this time. Highly recommended

It’s THE BEST Indian thali I have had in the U.S. Each and every side has a unique taste. When we went there for the first time, ordered Punjabi Thali and Kesar’s special thali. The taste was exquisite. We loved the place so much that we visited again with our friends and ordered their Maharaja Thali. One big thali shared by four. I was quite impressed that the 17 sides tasted unique without any overpowering masala. This place is a must visit when you’re here in NJ. Their service is great. It’s first come first serve and no reservations. The place can get crowded and there can be a wait time.

I rarely give a 5 and this place deserves it . I thought of giving a 4 , because the service was a bit slow , but the food taste insisted me to give 5/5 … and the price point is also good. Not too expensive , not to cheap. Average price . I’m not a big fan of their sweets though. We ordered amritsari Thali , Kesars special Thali and kulcha thali. All we ordered tasted good … I have been to other kesar locations and I’m a big fan of their bahubali thali. Nice concept. My kids loved the food. Not too spicy byt right taste . I haven’t been here in peak times , but the place looks small for many of them to sit and eat ! Not sure what the wait times are in peak time . Overall had a good time in Kesars … 👍👍👍
