TIKKA HOUSE INDIAN RESTAURANT

This review is a little dated, but I used to love going here to the Tikka House. I enjoyed the food, interacting with the staff and the ambiance. My favorite of the Indian cuisine in Louisville

The best Indian food I’ve had in Louisville. The Samosas spice is flavorful and delicious. Pakoras were equally as good. Chana masala and chicken pepper masala were generous portions - everything was so good. Service was quick and the atmosphere is inviting. I can’t forget the mango lassi! Excited to find such a gem.

Door Dash driver spilled my lassi and tea in their car, but the food was perfect. Will definitely order from here again. And if you are reading this, Door Dash is a tough game. If the food was good but the delivery was not, be mindful of leaving an appropriate review based on the restaurant and not the delivery service.

1st time but will definitely be back. Everything was so tasty and fresh. Sabita made sure everything was just right. Great menu.

Our dining experience at Tikka House Indian Restaurant was a delightful journey through authentic Indian flavors. As a group of four, we were immediately captivated by the inviting ambiance and the tantalizing aromas that greeted us.The Butter Chicken Masala was a revelation, with its creamy, rich sauce perfectly enveloping the succulent chicken pieces. The Korma Lamb was equally impressive, offering a harmonious blend of spices that enhanced the tender lamb. The Chicken Biryani was a true star, its aromatic spices and perfectly cooked rice creating an unforgettable taste sensation. Accompanying our meal was the freshly baked Nan bread, soft and ideal for soaking up the delicious sauces. Not to be overlooked, the Chicken 65 added an exciting burst of flavor with its crispy texture and spicy taste, showcasing the culinary excellence of Indian cuisine.The generous portions were well-suited for our group, allowing us all to share and enjoy the variety of dishes. I highly recommend Tikka House to anyone seeking an authentic and enjoyable Indian dining experience. The combination of exquisite food, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service makes it a must-visit for lovers of Indian cuisine.

Food was amazing! This is my second Indian restaurant I’ve been to and by comparing the two they give great portions. However, I have on both occasions finished my meat before all of my rice was gone. I ordered the lamb biryani and the chicken 65. Just wish they gave an option for extra meat portions with the biryani, ordered spicy (was not that spicy to me I love spicy food. But the flavors was still good so I did not mind but will definitely recommend more spice for spicy orders) Because I will surely pay for it. Being that this was my first time I should have asked but I wanted to see what was given with meals on a regular basis. I gave a five because regardless of it not being spicy it still taste good. The last one I went too was very spicy but it did not taste that great. Other than that this is the best one I’ve been to so far.

everything was very good! our waitress was friendly & helped us pick out a dish for someone who had never tried indian food before. they kept refilling our drinks even after we finished eating. great service :)
