Incredible food! Please support! I first tried Mom's at the Jimmy's Corner location. Everything taste so homemade, fresh and super flavorful. I loved it so much I absolutely had to try out the Bardstown Road location. It did not disappoint! I got the buffet to go and was blown away. Even though I can't recall the names of all of the dishes, every single thing I tried was delicious! The service was also excellent. I cant wait to go back!
Recently changing over from a Caribbean kitchen to an Indian kitchen, this place is phenomenal. We stumbled in here on Christmas Day and we met with a buffet that was reasonably priced. The hosts are incredibly accommodating and all the food, particularly the naan, is delicious and fresh. bathrooms are clean and functional. Highly recommend.
This is a new restaurant in the area and the food is amazing! Such a welcoming environment, they were attentive as could be; not to mention the aesthetics relaxing - art beautiful..colorful and vibrant! The fooood?! Mom knows what she's doing 😉 Biryani even with level 4 out of 5 spice level (she customized it for me so it was not too weak/strong but perfect!) still had 100% one of a kind full, robust flavor. Prices very fair with a large portion, well worth it! I cannot wait to come back and try everything else.. you MUST come stop by!! Can't say enough good things 😀 (Just to mention, if you aren't familiar with the Highlands, this business DOES have parking - just pull BEHIND the building, plenty of space!)
I was told to try Koko & Rae. Well, it is under new ownership, and the new owners are phasing Koko & Rae out. A lot of the menu items were not available, but I was able to try a few things. The food was really really good. The portions were huge. Now, I will say that had I known the buffet was $19 I would NOT have paid $22 for my 1 plate of food. It was a little overpriced, in my opinion, for what I received. Especially since Im not really a "dark meat" chicken girly and all the chicken was chicken thighs. Anywho, I don't know if Sunny was the owner or an employee but he was very very very sweet. I will go back just to hang out with him. He was very patient and welcoming. Because I had zero clue of what I wanted to eat. Overall, I will definitely try this place again and you should too.
Perhaps it was weekday lunchtime, so the only meat available was chicken, offered in three different varieties. All of them were very good, especially the tandoori chicken thighs. Their naan is a must-have—it’s not just one of the best naans, it is the best! That’s how good it is
Cozy environment, friendly staff, and good food. Went for breakfast,I return after lunch 😅 Kindly find attached photos to get a clear idea about it. Buffet for $16.99 is really worth it. Mom’s kitchen you have my heart♥️🫶🏻
First time eating and we ended up going with their buffet option. Picture was my second plate because i wolfed the first down too fast, opps. Food was amazing, the spices were so prominent in the dishes but not overpowering. Was craving some full flavored food and this hit the spot. The staff was full of smiles and it was a wonderful eating expirence. Make sure to try their commplentary chia tea it was very soothing.
