This place is so good π Thankfully they have a lunch special buffet and it includes a different variety of Indian cuisine. I paid $19.95 which isn't as bad compared to other restaurants in the area and this is a BUFFET! They give you the choice to pick between garlic naan or regular naan bread. Overall I recommend checking this place out if you're in the area
I was using the restaurant for the first time and I was not too sure what to expect . I previously went to Jaipur on Pico but their consistent rude & unfriendly attitude made me try Nizam . My order was to go . I ordered Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Tikka Masala , Samosas , Pakoras , Aloo Gobhi , ( 2 orders each ) ,rice and Garlic Naan . Everything was very very good , tasty and decent portions for the price . I do not understand how others criticized the food as nobody can cook one day excellent food and the other day v bad one . We and our guests loved it . The lady I placed the order with & picked it up from was extremely nice & friendly . I think you still find restaurants who have great food & excellent customer service . Definitely this would be our place for Indian food . I strongly recommend it.
My husband and I have been doing to Nizam for their amazing lunch buffet for years. Not only is it affordable; the food is always fresh and tasty. In the photos below, you can see some of my favorite dishes on the plate featured: Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag, Saffron Rice, and Raita. I also LOVE their dessert, Gulab Jamun. The staff is always friendly and happy to see you (they definitely know us!) Plus, it is a great place to treat family and friends. We also enjoy the atmosphere and find the seating comfortable. Many fond memories have been made here and hopefully, will continue to be made.
The place could have used a bit of a face lift, but the service and food were excellent!!! We ordered the mango lassi, mixed veg grill, Naan, rice, raita, baigan bartha for the main course and gulab jamuns for dessert. Parking was fairly easy to find that day we went because it was a holiday. All of that for an economical $52.00 including taxes in a post covid world in Beverly Jill's no less!!
Been coming here since 2010. One of my favorite places in LA! My colleagues and I would always come here for lunch from Culver City and always get in trouble for taking a long lunch! I love the flavors here. Iβve been to other Indian buffets as well but this one has a special place in my heart. Dunno how they make their saag corn but itβs addictive. Their aloo gobi, chicken tikka masala are all extremely flavorful. Seasonally they have the best mangos which you never see anywhere else. Service is always swift and attentive. Absolutely a gem.
Portions are great and all the flavors were spot on! Iβve done take-out for dinner and stopped by for their lunch buffet. Highly recommend the saag paneer, garlic naan, and chicken tikka masala!
we came from Washington state, my family decided to eat something lighter because we got tired of eating chicken and mutton almost every other day, we got veggie thali , so this was my first time in punjabi restaurant, and i can't explain my experience went so well, the service was great, the food was so yummy, specially with home made makhan . i wish i could just come every day to try different things but we had to go back, but will come back
