Worth traveling 40 m drive from Plano late night @ 11:30 p on a Sat (6 friends) All dishes are good - No disappointments @ I would recommend this location to everyone We’ve tried 6 dishes -> Ghee Podi Idly -> Chitti Idly -> Malai Bun -> Chicken Fried Rice -> Chicken Noodles -> Fried Paneer Ended with Masala Tea
Food Junction is a fantastic place for food lovers! Their Chicken Noodles is a must-try—flavored just like the authentic Hyderabadi style, bringing that perfect blend of spices and taste. The street food options here are also amazing, offering a variety of delicious choices. The flavors, quality, and overall experience make this spot a go-to for a great meal. Highly recommended!
Great food and ambiance. Service of the food little slow due but that’s fine. I have tried Veg Noodles, Veg Fried Maggie and Stuffed Mirchi. There are good in taste and quantity. I very much liked the Veg noodles. Much recommended place for street style Indian food members. Definitely will come to try more options.
One of the best food trucks in Denton! The quality is excellent, even with a limited menu—everything we tried was fantastic! We had ghee podi dosas, paneer sandwich, poori with chicken curry and punugulu, and all of them were delicious. The vibe is really nice, with lights, a seating area, and even a projector playing songs, making it a great spot to hang out with friends and family. Definitely a must-visit food truck in Denton!
Its food truck serving till mid night. I like the food here . We tried idli dosa chicken fried rice chicken franky all of them are good even kulfi 😀
Food is so delicious, we tried chicken fried rice , veg noodles and idli. Every item is so tasty and the ambience so cool. Must visit food truck in Denton. And I should say this is my third visit
I was not in the mood for a drive or Indian food but friends forced me to join them, so I tagged along reluctantly. The location was calm and most businesses around were closed. Parking was easy to find across the street. The place is well laid out with picnic tables and string light with some Bollywood videos playing on the screen . The food truck itself was very clean. We ordered almost everything on the menu as we were a large group. The service was very courteous from placing the order to picking up the food. Due to the large crowd they did say a few rice and noodle orders would take time (setting expectations right). My first was the Chitti ghee podi Idly (mini steamed rice and lentil cakes in clarified butter and lentil spice powder mix) with fresh peanut and ginger chutneys. I requested sambar on the side which was happily served. This entree is the star of the Food Junction show. It is as good and better than eating in South India. Everything had a perfect balance and the Idly had the right fluff and bite to them. The spice powder was spot on with flavor and everything in it was balanced. It was so good that I had a repeat of it. I tried the Masala dosa, Poori, Punugulu, Noodles and fried rice from other orders. The dosa, poori and punugulu were very good. Noodles and fried rice were okay but had room for improvement to to get the street style flavor pop. Which costed a star for food. Overall this place is excellent for south Indian breakfast / tiffin items. The chutneys and food was super fresh and I could feel the care taken to prepare it (a huge rarity in restaurant world). Though I went reluctantly, I was super happy to have dined at Food Junction. It’s a gem in Denton. If you are in the area don’t miss it, better yet, it’s worth the drive if you are craving a great south Indian tiffin / breakfast. Disclaimer: I am not in anyway related to this business. I paid full price and tax for all the food I had.
