We went here with friends a couple times, their service was quick and food was tasty. Some items were on the spicy side but overall very good. We tasted noodles and fried rice which is close to what we get in India. Their falooda was probably the best I tasted in DFW area. We tried traditional rose, Badam pista flavors and they were great. I would suggest making them a little less sweet for my taste nevertheless the best ones I had.

Golconda in Denton is hands down the best Indian food truck around! I’ve been here multiple times, and the food is consistently amazing – they never miss. There are plenty of Indian food trucks popping up all over Denton, but none come close to the taste and quality that Golconda delivers. This food truck truly stands out! Their chitti punugulu is unmatched – it’s honestly the best I’ve ever had from any food truck. Another favorite is the mysore bonda, which is perfectly made every time. For a healthier option, I usually go with their ghee kharam dosa, which is flavorful and satisfying without compromising on taste. In a town with a lot of Indian food trucks and a flood of student-driven reviews, it’s hard to know which ones are genuinely good. But with Golconda, you can trust that you’re getting authentic, high-quality Indian breakfast items. If you’re in Denton and craving Indian street food, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

great Indian street food spot for Denton! Denton has some good trucks for South Indian street food, and this includes Golconda Xpress. It's located in a washeteria area complex, very close to UNT. They have two picnic benches to sit and eat, but they fill up quickly, especially on weekends. Now for the menu- they offer South Indian street food with weekend specials with mutton curry on Fridays and chicken curry on Saturdays & Sundays. We got the stuffed mirchi, weekend special of onion dosa with chicken curry, a side of bagara rice, samosa chaat, punugulu, bonda, and chicken Hakka noodles. Their food is spicy. If you want really less spice, make sure to mention that to them (their normal is spicy). The lines were long on the weekend, but the service is pretty fast. All of their tiffin orders come with a side of three chutneys, all which were perfect, but kinda spicy. The bonda is their signature dish, and for good reason. It was crispy, but perfectly fluffy and soft in the inside. I definitely recommend this. The onion dosa is large, crispy, and went very well with the chicken curry. Chicken curry was spicy, but it's balanced out when you have it with one of the sides (they offer parotta, dosa, poori, and bagara rice as sides). We also tried it with the bagara rice, and it was a two thumbs up! I was a bit hesitant to try the bagara rice because some people really load it up with the clove and whole cinnamon flavor, but there's was perfectly balanced. It had flavor, but was not overpowering. Stuffed mirchi was a straight 5/5. Their chicken curry and chutneys were spicy, so I was skeptical about trying the mirchi (I was sure my tongue was gonna be on fire and there was no ice cream offered), but it turned out to be one of the best items we had! The stuffing really helps balance out the spice. And the stuffing was done really well with the mixture and peanuts. Punugulu was also good. They're a bit smaller, but still tasty and large portion to keep you filled. We ordered the chicken Hakka noodles less spice, and they did lessen the spice, but I still felt it was kinda spicy. It was pretty tasty though. The only thing I felt was just okay was the samosa chaat, and maybe it's because you should eat it fast so it doesn't get soggy (which I didn't ) All in all, a solid place to check out some street food

During a recent visit to Texas, I decided to try out Golconda Xpress Indian Food Truck—just a random stop while looking for something quick to eat. What I didn’t expect was to be taken on a full-blown trip down memory lane. It’s been 10 years since I left India, and all this time, I’ve never found chicken street-style noodles in the U.S. that even came close to what I grew up eating. That perfect mix of smoky wok flavor, tender chicken, spicy kick, and street-side magic—it’s a taste that stuck in my memory but never made it to my plate again… until now. One bite from Golconda Xpress, and I was back there—standing at a bustling street vendor’s stall, watching noodles being tossed with flair and fire. It was authentic, flavorful, and so unexpectedly nostalgic. Can’t believe I found that taste again, and in Texas of all places. This food truck is an absolute gem for anyone craving real Indian street flavors.

Food is alright and service wise they are super slow. Pricing wise it's alright they need to improve the service otherwise people will get frustrated. Parking is average their live Pani puri taste rally good. Egg dosa also good
