My hubby and I had an absolutely fantastic experience! The service was warm and welcoming. The food was very delicious. We ordered samosa chaat, which had just the right amount of spices and was full of flavor. The serving time was impressively quick, and the portion sizes were generous. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home but with the convenience of dining out, this is the spot. Highly recommend it to anyone craving delicious Indian food!
This Indian restaurant is absolutely my favorite place for its truly authentic cuisine and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Every dish on the menu is rich in flavor and clearly made with care and traditional spices. You can tell they stay true to their roots while delivering a consistently high-quality dining experience. If you’re looking for real Indian food that’s both comforting and flavorful, this place never disappoints.
If you love Carytown Indian, be sure to add Bajra Indian Bistro to your list! As the sister restaurant, it delivers the same authentic experience with a slightly larger menu and more casual atmosphere. The chai tea has a nice spice. The tandoori chicken tikka is served with a creamy sauce on the side and is a true standout. The raita, with its twist of pomegranate seeds, adds a fun element, and the extra cheesy, hot garlic naan is comforting and delicious. The dedicated parking lot makes it so easy to visit, and the location is very convenient with a dedicated parking lot and close to the Fan, Jackson Ward, and VCU. The friendly service and cozy atmosphere make this a great spot for a group or dinner for two.
This place is incredible! The food and portion sizes are excellent, everything was well spiced, and the service was excellent. Stephen was a great waiter and even gave us a free cheesecake at the end of our meal. The value of the food is well worth it! Give this place a try. We enjoyed garlic naan, butter chicken, and paneer korma.
When I walked i was blessed by the presentation of the restaurant and music. I was greater by Ricky who seated me and served me water out a fancy bottle. I knew what I exactly wanted, goat, and Ricky helped me pick out the right heat. I went goat briyoni and vegetable platter. Perfect. Then Ricky blessed me again with a dessert. Do check this place out.
5/5 stars! Amazing Indian food with rich, authentic flavors. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend for a fantastic dining experience!
Fantastic! The server was attentive, the meal arrived quickly and was full of spice and flavor. The rating scale for spiciness (1-5) was actually accurate. Fully stocked bar. Price was within the averages for local Indian restaurants. The restaurant was clean and spacious. Limited but easy parking.
