I can't emphasize enough how incredible the food was it was so good that I almost wanted to cry, lol. It had the comforting taste of home but with an array of amazing flavors that you wouldn't typically find at home. The servers were fantastic; they took the time to explain all the dishes. The paneer here absolutely has my heart. I don't have a single bad comment about this place. Sure, it's pricey, but it's totally worth it.

Delicious food and service was top of the line. Staff were very polite and knowledgeable, and each dish was presented so beautifully. Would add an actual masala chai option as the tea was very basic and not worth the price. Definitely order the prestige tasting menu or higher ultimate experience rather than a la carte !

Junoon is an experience that keeps us coming back. We've dined here three times for different occasions, and it has never disappointed. It's hands down the best fine dining Indian restaurant in NYC. An inviting atmosphere with top notch service: attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. As for the food, everything is crafted with perfection, but some standout dishes include their beautifully spiced lamb chops, smoked masala pork ribs, scallops moilee, flavorful mushroom and truffle khichdi, literally all of their fish dishes and the divine tasting desserts. 10/10!!

The BEST fine dining indian restaurant in NYC !! We went there to celebrate my partner's birthday and we were blown away. We opted for the restaurant week menu which was a 3 course menu. Upon entering we were seated in the vibrant but cozy main dining area. Our server was super calm and accommodated our requests. For appetizers we started off with eggplant chaat which had fried eggplant cooked in batter which was crispy but not oily hidden under silky yougurt and tamrind sauce. The paneer lasooni tulsi tikka (cottage cheese starter) was SOO good, it was beyond my expectation. It came with a flavourful chutney which was addictive. Moving on to the mains, we ordered nadru ghost chilli korma which was lotis stem dumplings dipped in fantastic curry. Murg pasanda was the usual chicken tikka masala but was super creamy and smooth. For desserts we ordered kulfi pops which had a selection of ice cream pops. Pistachio flavor was on point and we loved the saffron one too. Ended on a warm and comforting rice pudding. The staff brought in another chocolate mousse dessert with a candle to celebrate my partners birthday. We enjoyed and we'll definitely go back for the chef's tasting menu.

I walked into Junoon the other day looking for a place with WiFi access where I could sit & order a drink while taking a phone meeting. The restaurant wasn’t opening for another half hour, yet I was welcomed in and treated with the utmost kindness & hospitality by the hostess & manager , who even offered to take the coffee takeout cup I was holding & had it warmed & served to me at the bar. The drink menu was a gorgeous list of craft cocktails and alcohol-free drinks using Indian herbs. It was a beautiful experience. I highly recommend Junoon for both its wonderful service and kind hospitality. A breath of fresh air from the stress in New York City.

Had a great lunch menu here for good value. Smoked ribs were delicious and with a good marinade. Goat chops were decent but I’ll want to try the ghost chili dish the next time. Kulfi pops are a treat!

Such a great spot for elevated Indian food, I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here. It has a great ambiance leaning slightly casual but still very elegant and the service was all very friendly. To start we had the tuna puchka and panned tikka and both were excellent presented beautifully and with great flavors. And mmm, our mains, a tandoor chicken and shrimp curry were perfectly cooked and served with incredible sauces. While I felt the portions were a little on the small side, I appreciate it was restaurant week and it definitely gave me enough to know I want to return.
