Chicken Vindaloo was good. Samosas were good. Malai Paneer Tikka was good. Service was great. The Naan was thin & dry. Went again 4/28/25. Still good.
So glad to discover the best Indian restaurant in Colorado Springs! From the authentic Punjab dishes to the attentive service and comfortable surroundings, they set a very high bar. The Samosas in a chickpea sauce, Butter Chicken, Biryani and Garlic Naan were 😋 with just the right heat. Can't wait to return for more.
Great experience. Ayan served us and did a nice job. The portions are nice sized, and we each spent around $20 a dish. The specialty drinks are tasty and strong as well! We came on a Monday evening and were practically the only ones there. Nice location, clean environment, calm and relaxing. I recommend!
I got the chicken tikka. My wife being vegetarian had multiple option. Aloo tikki, missi roti and the baingan bharta (one of the best I’ve had). Had good small talk with the friendly Punjabi dudes serving and also gave us good suggestions. Finally some good North Indian food.
The food and service were absolutely amazing. The atmosphere made it very easy to relax and read. I asked for a recommendation and it was all fantastic. I ended up with the garlic naan and lamb shish kabob as well as grabbed a pint of Winter Warlock.
Great location, Great ambience with nice contrast of colors in the restaurant decor, beautiful lamps and nice decent wine selection which they have a display on the wall. I will NOT recommend veg biryani as it was not as it was suppose to be, i feel like it was more looking like veg fried rice types. Went little late with my group of friends still they accomodate us and did not rush us at all. The presentation of the food with the taste is amazing. Must try their malai paneer tikka with malai gravy which comes on the side. One of the best pan ice cream they have. Service was excellent and very friendly. 10times better than other restaurant around there ! Overall we had a great experience.
For the same price as a sub from one of the usual places, you could dine in a beautiful space and have a lamb curry. Pakwan is a gem hidden in a strip mall. Its mirrored windows prevent you seeing inside, but once past the door, you’ll be welcomed into a nice space that is tastefully decorated. The food was great, the server was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Highly recommended.
