I love the taste of this restaurant. Goat curry is a MUST try. Tomato chicken curry gives a kind of refreshing acidity flavor. Another vegetable dish is potato and cauliflower dish. Naan texture is soft not chewy. I love to eat Naan with Goat curry sauce. Even my kids who is always picky eating like to eat this restaurant. But there is one thing to remind, this restaurant is a little bit crowded during weekend lunch hour.
I absolutely love this little restaurant. I order here often for takeout and I occasionally dine-in. The service is always very good. The food is delicious. I always get their Gobi Manchurian because it's one of my favorite things on the menu.
Everything ordered was really good. Excellent food with Excellent happy staff made it a delight. I usually dont eat Naan and eat rice, but somehow it was opposite as the Naan was also on point. I'd definitely go back to see what else they have.
I found this place on Google maps, my go to place is very far out from Long Island and this restaurant will be my new go to place! I ordered goat curry and garlic naan, it was sooo delicious π₯° Canβt wait to come back for the next order!
Wifey has been wanting a spot for Indian food since we moved to the area BUT she does not like spicy. Her favorite dish is chicken korma and sure enough they have it here. She really loved it! Also got the vegetable samosa and they were standard. Lil man ordered shrimp noodles that were just like shrimp chow mein. But he enjoyed the chicken korma and the naan. Overall food was tasty and now wifey is happy with a spot for Indian food. Seating area is small but we were seated right away. Service was fine as we were the only customers there. Honestly it looks like most customers order take out. But we enjoyed the food so we will be back.
Came with a party of 5, 2 kids age 8. One very important thing to note. This place is small. Really small. They are also very busy, and they make all their food to order. So they take their time and a queue forms very quickly even for takeout. If you are in a rush this is not the place for you even If you get there the moment they open. If you have the time and patience the food is well worth the wait. The Daal Makhani was fantastic made with deep flavor as it should be. The Malai kofta was very creamer without being heavy at all. The naan was cooked to perfection, and the tandoori chicken was a no frills dish where the spices shine. We have been here several times before and the service is consistent. Finally got around to reviewing them.
One of thee best South Asian joints I've ever been to on Long Island period. I'm a Sri Lankan and this is the first time I'm having Maharashtra cuisine at a restaurant. Wanted Pav Bhajee but it was out of stock so went for the Vada Pav and it was Soo good! My wife loves all things potatoey and this was a real treat. Ordered Bombay style Indo Chinese chili chicken and Murgh Dhaniwal as our entrees along with their goat biryani. The Dhaniwal was so different from almost all 'North' Indian dahi based Chicken curries I've had before, it had a sort of earthy yet aromatic quality to it. Biryani had a good amount of goat meat and it was really good π chili πΆοΈ π was spicy and tangy. They serve proper naan too that went amazingly well with the Dhaniwal. Washed it all down with thumsup and limca. Food and service was top draw. They have a bathroom inside but you have to go through the kitchen area to reach it. There were around 6-8 tables but the seating area is small. I highly recommend this place to everyone coming to Hicksville for their Indian groceries, just give this place a go and you'll never go back to the places on that main street. Can't wait to try their South Indian items! We'll surely be back. π
