The mocktails were also a pleasant surprise, with the passionfruit and mango flavors adding a refreshing touch to our meal. We also dined in for their buffet, which is a great deal at just $13 per person. The buffet offered an impressive selection, including fish, pakoras, nihari, lamb shank, rice, and various chicken dishes. The restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious, making it a great place to gather with family and friends. The wait time was a bit long, but that’s expected given the popularity of the buffet, especially with Ramadan approaching. Despite the crowd, the staff remained incredibly friendly and welcoming, ensuring we had a great experience. We had Mansi as our server and she went above and beyond to take care of us during our meals. Sunshine Restaurant has been a staple in the community for many years, consistently delivering high-quality Pakistani cuisine. We went to this restaurant for their Iftar buffet, and overall, it was a great experience. The food was delicious, and I really enjoyed the variety they offered. The environment was clean and well-maintained, which added to the comfort of our visit. I also appreciated that they had a designated prayer area, making it convenient for those wanting to pray. However, the place was extremely crowded, which made the experience a bit hectic. Due to the large number of people, we had to wait in line for quite a while to get our food. While the quality and taste were excellent, the crowd management could have been better.

Sunshine Restaurant in Hicksville offers a great dining experience with authentic Indian and Pakistani Zabiha Halal cuisine. I tried the papri chaat, beef boti kabab, chicken chapli kabab, garlic & sesame naan, and Kashmiri tea. Most of the dishes were delicious, but the chicken chapli kabab lacked flavor for my taste. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was prompt and friendly. Overall, it’s worth visiting for the flavorful food and pleasant ambiance!

We went for iftaar buffet. The decor and ambiance was good here. The buffet was delicious and good pakistani menu. Told others to visit for ramadan and will continue we to tell others.

The ambiance was also pleasant, with clean and comfortable surroundings. The staff provided exceptional service, and the exterior decorations were eye-catching. This is the only outlet of the 3 Sunshine restaurants NY that showed up on the Zabiha Halal certification website HFSAA. Checked out their breakfast buffet. Was not disappointed. It was everything advertised and more. The food was absolutely delish and the service impeccable. Thanks Mansi.
