This is hands down the best samosa and chole bhature I have have had in the US! I loved the milk cake too. The raita was to die for. The place has an old sweet shop vibe. The service was great and very friendly. I would definitely go back if I’m in the area again.
I had wanted to sample the food here for quite some time. I finally stopped by and bought a 3 item combo. I enjoyed my food. Service was helpful. Dining room was busy but clean. Parking was not difficult. If you like seasonings and flavorful vegan and vegetarian food, Baba Sweets is a great choice. And the carrot dessert that came with my combo was deliciously memorable.
Some of the best Indian food I’ve had in the country. Had aaloo parantha and Amritsari kulcha and they were both amazing!! Chai was a little too sweet for my taste
I was so eager to eat here since my friend recommended it highly. I was blown away by their authentic Punjabi style of food. To deliver such clean flavors, fresh ingredients and authentic Food, at such low prices, requires honesty to self and one’s home cuisine. I will recommend 100 times over to everyone I know. It’s LA’s secret Indian eatery in a city full of fake Indian food. I know some Indian origin customers complain about taste, prices and customer service but they are less travelled, less open to other regional delicacies and are recent immigrants who might be comparing prices to what they are before taking the flight out of India. I’m hoping the reality of eating fresh food paying a little higher price than jeopardizing health at cheap Indian restaurants will hit people. Good luck Baba Sweets, I’ll be back every time I drive over LA
Excellent authentic North Indian restaurant and snack center situated in Woodland Hill area Los Angeles, CA 🇺🇸. Rates are moderate. You can get Samosa, sweets and other snacks. It serves only vegetarian North Indian Punjabi dishes. 1 item, 2 items and 3 items combos are available with 2 or 3 phulkas. You can choose different curries 1 to 3 dishes from almost 15 varieties available there. Combos are served with boondi Raitha and 1 sweet item is provided for 2 & 3 items combos. You can order individual curries also with Naan and phulka. We ordered combos with Aloo gobi, paneer butter Masada, Aloo baingan fry, Palak paneer, aloo parantha etc. We ordered even stuffed karela (bitter gourd). All the dishes were tasty and Excellent. We even tried Tea and it was really good. Must try vegetarian restaurant in Los Angeles, California whenever you are in LA. I strongly recommend this restaurant.
A hidden gem, some of the best Indian vegetarian food you’re find in the LA area!
This was a pretty good buffet style fast food indian restaurant. I didn't rate it 5 stars because for some reason the person at the register kept taking people that walked in after me - I think because he knew them. The sweets looked excellent so I will have to try them next time. I ordered the 2 plate combo, with green pepper paneer and another paneer dish. The paneer was a little rubbery in texture but the flavors were excellent! Update: I have been back several times and it is worth the upgrade to 5 stars! They have a line away from the food displays to avoid crowding and they are always very friendly. The food is always well done - and I love their butter paneer! The naan is really large and is always high quality and fluffy. The staff always also offers me chai as well, I would highly recommend Baba Sweets for Indian food in the valley!
