Delicious food and friendly service—my quick photo doesn’t do it justice. Our server was quick to refill waters and gave recommendations of the menu based on what we said we liked. The aloo gobi and lamb saag were delicious and our whole meal was fairly cheap compared to most other restaurants in the area. They didn’t ask what spice level we wanted, but we were all happy with every dish. Unfortunately we didn’t know this restaurant was here for the last couple of years since it’s tucked away in the parking lot, but I highly recommend it!
update: We now order takeout from Dawaat often because the food is spectacular, but last night we had the opportunity to eat at the restaurant for the first time. The new decor is nice! And the Aloo Tikki appetizer was "do not miss this" phenomenal. We ordered several vegetarian entrees we had not had before and everything was brilliant. Also when we asked for a dish to be made "mild" they were very accommodating. Mild, but still full of flavor. Love this hidden gem of a restaurant. Prior review still stands: Absolutely amazing, delicious Vegetable Biryani ! So many layers of flavor. Aroma mouthwatering. A very generous portion (could feed several people), and came with a beautiful Raita. It's clear that a lot of love and care went into preparing this dish. Looking forward to trying all the other vegetarian options on the menu. Very quick service, very clean restaurant.
Everything we had was delicious! My bf and i were in the mood for indian food & in the area, we were so fortunate to find this place😭 Thank yall!!
OUTSTANDING FLAVOR ‼️. I was able to order non spicy…no chili, however, it was still extremely flavorful. Definitely worth the drive to come back up to the city and have dinner.
Smallish place, but good service and food was amazing. The prices were also very reasonable - most other new restaurants charge a lot more. Also they had an offer which made it even sweeter. We had the paneer tikka, the noodles, Manchurian, Malai kofta, baingan bartha, shahi paneer and all the breads were fresh and amazing. The quantity of subjis were good. I didn't expect much since this was a smaller place and not much fanfare, but it blew past our expectations. Apologies for not posting pictures of the food - we were hungry and the food was too tasty to wait for a pic!
Great food and service! The gobhi manchurian was one of the tastiest versions I had. The kebabs and bhindi were good too. Would have liked more green chutney in the samosa chaat, but it was good. The owners are super nice and the place is a quiet and clean place to dine.
We went to try this restaurant recently and we ordered mixed vegetable pakoras, Bhaigan Bharta, Vegetable biryani, onion kulcha and laccha paratha. I have to say that the portion is reasonably bigger than we thought. Taste was also very good. After couple of days, we went to try their chaat for evening snack and we ordered papdi chaat, samosa chaat and plain samosas. All of them were very good. We will definitely go back again to this place more often.
