If you’re craving bold, authentic Hyderabadi flavors in Austin, Nawabi Hyderabad House delivers in every way. The Dum Biryani is hands-down the best in town — aromatic, perfectly spiced, and generously portioned, with tender, flavorful meat buried under beautifully cooked basmati rice. We also tried their Goat Curry and Paneer Butter Masala, both rich, deeply spiced, and packed with authentic South Indian warmth. Every dish has this unmistakable homemade quality, like a little slice of Hyderabad right here in Texas. The spice levels are legit — not dumbed down — so if you like it hot, you’re in for a treat. Service is fast, friendly, and the place has a lively, no-nonsense vibe that’s all about the food. A go-to spot for anyone serious about real Indian food in Austin.
I recently ordered catering from Nawabi Hyderabad house Austin for my cocktail party, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and a hit with all my guests. The service was top-notch, everything arrived on time, fresh, and exactly as promised. The team(Sai was very responsible),professional, responsive, and made the entire process seamless. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for high-quality catering and food. Looking forward to ordering again.
Service was slow but the food was fresh and flavorful. Therefore it was worth it. Their sauce has peanuts, my nephew had little choice but the biryani was good for him.
Very flavorful! Service was great. Walked in got seated right away and with a pitcher of water. My husband and I drink water like it’s going out of style so that was very much appreciated. Chicken kebob was not dry, Yaay! The bread basket was tasty and A LOT of bread we took it home for leftovers.
We’re regulars to Nawabi! But this Nalli Ghost Biriyani needed it’s own mention. It was extremely good!!! Such tender meat, cooked in a tasty flavorful gravy and rice. My whole family thoroughly enjoyed it and we still have some more left to take home and devour later. The portion size was generous. Definitely give it a try when you dine here.
Good treat for Andhra food lovers! We had the newly launched Rajugari Bhojanam - Unlimited Andhra thaali offered in both veg and non-veg options. I had the veg. It’s a huge spread featuring South Indian andhra full meals . Good food not too spicy . I was expecting the usual panir , dhal . To my surprise it was a refreshing change to the usual fare especially for vegetarian. Included andhra specialities , My personal favorites were the parupu podi and curry leaf thogaiyal ! Also not too spicy . Would definitely come back. Bring a good appetite to enjoy this .
Great place to get good. So delicious and great servers. I’m not a huge fan of Indian but this was great. I recommend the butterd chicken , garlic nana, and the mango lassi. If you’re not a huge fan of yogurt I wouldn’t get the mango lassi because it’s very thick. Overall I think this a great place to eat and I completely recommend. Also the workers were so nice and made sure we enjoyed everything (they gave us complementary dessert!!!!!) LOVE THIS PLACE
