The Monk’s Indian Bistro

Upon entering The Monk’s Indian Bistro I was greeting by Navaneeth and his amazing smile. I really connected with the vibe and the music. I knew that the food would match. And the results are in - impressive and amazing. I had the Chicken Dum Biryani and garlic naan. For the drink I recommend trying the mango lemonade - I included ice with mine - yummy and refreshing (A must try)! Don’t miss out on this experience.

Navneeth made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. His food recommendations were spot on. My 2 coworkers and I ordered several dishes and shared. I have been in Houston for 55 years. This is hands down the best place for Indian cuisine.

The food here is so unique and absolutely delicious! We tried several dishes and two types of bread and were blown away by everything. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. The servers were helpful and attentive. Will definitely eat here again!

Monk's has been my top choice for Indian cuisine in Houston for quite some time, so when they opened a location in Humble, I couldn’t have been more excited. Fortunately, the experience has lived up to expectations every single time. The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of dishes, all bursting with bold, authentic flavors. The Indo-Chinese style fried rice and noodles are standout options, each bite as flavorful as the last. The biryanis are perfectly spiced and incredibly aromatic, and I can’t recommend the non-veg starters enough — they’re consistently outstanding. For a refreshing finish, the mango lassi and masala tea are both excellent choices. The servers are always friendly and accommodating, making the overall dining experience even better. Monk’s in Humble has quickly become my go-to spot for satisfying, high-quality Indian food in the area. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, you're sure to be impressed.

5 STARS ALL DAY!! Navaveeth was our waiter and he was AMAZING! It was my friend’s birthday. From the moment we walked in I was greeted warmly and treated as a VIP. Love the atmosphere. The place was clean and I loved the decor. Perfect for a quick lunch, girls evening, business lunch or just bringing the family for delicious food. Omggg the food.. Amazing! We ordered the monk’s special fries, samosas, tandoori chicken, butter masala paneer, garlic naan and my friends had a Jack Daniel’s and coke and a glass of wine. Service was impeccable but that food was amazing. It was my first time here but we felt welcomed and had a great time. Food was so good and spiced just right. If you want it spicer or less spicy they can accommodate. Truly a gem in humble and lucky for them a standout with all the bland food options around. Soooo good!! We want to take Navaveeth to a party. He as so freaking cool!

Absolutely love this place first time here and definitely coming back. Great prompt service from Navneeth. The dynamite chicken, paneer saag, street-style fried rice, spicy masala noodle, monks special fries, shrimp vindaloo highly recommend.
