Everything about here is so good. You can see other’s review about dishes. Very fresh, flavorful (curry offers 3 levels; mild/medium/hot). My Goat Biryani was so tasty. I can see the chief used fresh spices and look at the color of the rice! It’s an art (3 shades of color; white, yellow and orange). I really enjoyed flavor in the tongue and also was pleased with the eyes. Chief (and staffs) are dressed in stylish and polished as their professional. A young lady took an order, she welcomed us with friendly smile. All of our dishes (to go) were nicely packed and brought to us while we were waiting at table by male staff with smile and he wished me my birthday and a dessert (Rasmalai) was surprise gift. How sweet they are!!! Absolutely recommend Curry and Grill!! Can’t wait try another menu!!
Don’t let the gas station location deter you. THIS PLACE IS GOOD! Starting at the top going clockwise: Mutton samosa (also got chicken samosas), goat biriyani, butter chicken, & paneer tikka masala, & butter naan. Absolutely zero complaints. The quality & flavor are both there & we have already gone back a few more times. They do customize spice so you can adjust how spicy, or not spicy, you prefer it. If you have never had Indian food before, you’re safe with the butter chicken & you will not be sorry. Having tried several local places, this is going to be our go to spot. It makes us miss our time in India & it’s nice to relive those times through this delicious food.
Hidden Gem inside a Shell Gas station. Great flavor and good portion size as well. The owner(I believe) and the employees were welcoming and very courteous. This is a dream come true moment for people who love authentic Indian food in the summer wood, Lake Houston and everything in-between neighborhoods within a short reach. Hope you guys grow into your own place with seatings and keep up all the good things you are providing now. If so, we, the customers will return.
We got take out tonight after finding this new spot in town, located in the Shell on 1960 by the lake. Excellent customer service, kitchen and cook space looked clean and well prepared, food came out hot and fresh. Got a wide array of items to try and everything ended up great, goay biryani and butter chicken were delicious, Naan very tasty!
I could not believe how incredibly delicious the food is here given that it’s inside a Shell gas station. This place should have its own sit-down restaurant. Let’s start with how the Garlic Naan’a texture reminds me of hand-tossed pizza crust and so flavorful. The Butter Chicken sauce is unlike any I have ever tasted except maybe at a Michelin-rated restaurant in London, UK that featured coastal Indian dishes. The chicken in the Butter Chicken melts in your mouth — it’s so tender! The Goan Curry (coconut fish curry) was so delicious. The Tilapia chunks were very tender and flaky. I am definitely coming back for more of this delicious Indian food!
The culinary experience we had at this gas station was remarkable, the authenticity we encountered was unexpected in a gas station food establishment. We were impressed and will return again, thank you Chef.
This is truly a hidden gem. 💎 it's inside a gas station so if you're not careful you'll drive right past it. This restaurant is really knew but I urge you to try it as soon as possible. The garlic naan is great and the butter chicken is so flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The owner is very welcoming and his personality is so pleasant. Also portion sizes great for the price.
