So yummy!! We can for late lunch on a Tuesday and there was no wait. The eggplant dish was surprisingly complex and delicious. Everything was great and it was affordable. Service was great!
I love the food here. There hasn't been a dish I've gotten here that I didn't like. The servers are so great never gotten my order wrong, so clean and presentable, quick to seat you, quick to get food out. Always recommend to anyone that wants indian food. On the pricier side but honestly worth it. Only thing is that the tables aren't level/fixed so I get anxious sliding out of the booth that I'll lean on the table to much and either spill something.
We found this Indian restaurant on Yelp and it turned out to be one of the best meals we've had. The place was spotless, and the service was excellent--Zach, our server, was friendly, attentive, and quick without ever making us feel rushed. The food was packed with flavor and the portion sizes were really generous. They mentioned that most dishes serve two, but we had plenty left over--enough to easily feed three or four people. We ordered the garlic naan and roti, both of which were crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside, and had an amazing aroma. The lamb korma was rich and full of flavor. The chicken samosas were slightly dry on the inside, but the dipping sauces made up for it--one was a spicy green pepper sauce and the other a tangy tamarind-like sauce. The chicken biryani was cooked perfectly--the rice was tender and moist, and it came with a yogurt sauce that was honestly the best we've ever had. We also shared a mango lassi that was light, not too sweet, and big enough for two. Overall, we had a great experience and can't wait to come back with our family next time Lamb Korma and garlic Naan
Fantastic service!!! Service is so good here! The food was amazing. Butter chicken was tender and very flavorful. Lamb Biryanni could have been better. But overall everything here was awesome. Would come back again for more.
We had a great meal. We would order again all of the dishes we tried: Vegetable Korma, Aloo Saag, and the Mixed Tandoori Grill. We ordered mild curry which was tasty and did not overwhelm the flavors, but you can order hotter. The Vegetable Samosas were perfectly cooked with firm crust and soft interior. Portions were large enough for leftovers. Our server was attentive and friendly. The food arrived quickly, within 15 minutes. This place is a winner!
I’ve eaten here a few times and never been disappointed. I normally go for the lamb curry. The food is always fresh and very tasty. One thing you’ll notice is there’s no salt and pepper on the table because there’s no need for it. If you love Indian food, this is definitely a must try Restaurant.
Absolutely delicious! The best Chicken Tika Masala I've ever tasted. We also ordered the Butter Chicken and the Aloo Gobi Masala, all were amazing. Paired everything with basmati rice and garlic naan and chili naan. The staff is also helpful and attentive. Highly recommend Ashoka for an authentic Indian meal.
