My friends and I did our research to find the best Indian food in LA. Artesia is city known for having great Indian cuisine, and so we narrowed our searches to the city. We stumbled upon Curry Lounge and read the reviews on Yelp. They have a solid five star rating and Indian customers were raving about the food. Ok, well that’s a good sign. Plus, if this restaurant became a disappointment, we can always find a better place next time, right? So we decided to try out Curry Lounge. It’s a quaint restaurant that’s family owned and very cozy. The extensive menu consist of several protein options such as lamb, goat, seafood, chicken, etc… and they even have Indo Chinese dishes! The chili paneer was incredibly tasty and the butter chicken curry was the best I’ve ever had! The chef came out to explain how he cooks his tandoori chicken that’s brined and marinated for days using his secret recipe developed back in India. He also worked as a chef at a major five 5 star hotel in India. The dishes he serves shows a lot of different flavors and complex spices that you can’t find any where else! You are experiencing a Michelin five star flavors and the best Indian food in LA!
5 Stars - A Flavorful Journey at Curry Lounge! I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Curry Lounge in Artesia, and I can honestly say this place is a hidden gem for anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine with bold, satisfying flavors. We started off with the Samosas (3 pc) – perfectly crispy on the outside, generously stuffed with meat and potatoes. A classic, done really well. Then came the Amritsari Fish, which was tender, flaky, and packed with flavor – crispy batter with just the right hint of spice. It was gone in minutes. The Tandoori Chicken was amazing as well Saag Paneer – creamy, rich, and full of earthy flavor. The paneer was soft and fresh. Butter Chicken – smooth, velvety, and mildly sweet with that signature buttery tomato gravy. Lamb Curry – tender chunks of lamb in a deeply spiced, slow-cooked sauce. Aromatic and soul-warming. Also don't forget to get their Mango and Strawberry lassi. So creamy and refreshing!
Very yummy authentic Indian food in the area. For appetizers we got the aloo tikki and pani poori, they are a must try. We got the tandoori chicken, saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, lamb curry, they are all so flavorful and good with garlic naan. There’s a lot of bread option to choose from as well. The mango lassi and chai are good drink choice. Interior is cozy and service was good. Recommending this place!
Excellent food!! I ordered the Butter Chicken it was super super delicious. The Chicken Tika Masala is very tasty too. Garlic Naan bread was on point and the Samosas were freshly fried, crisp and flavorful. The sauces served with the Samosas were soo good. Definitely coming back here.

We had a fantastic experience at Curry Lounge – Indian Punjabi Fine Dine Restaurant! The food was truly authentic, full of rich Punjabi flavors, and beautifully prepared. It’s not often you find Indian restaurant that’s also kid-friendly, but Curry Lounge nailed it. Our kids absolutely loved the pani puri, saag with makki di roti, and paneer tikka—it was great to see them enjoy traditional dishes with so much enthusiasm. The staff was incredibly warm and attentive, making sure the spice levels were just right for the little ones and that everyone felt welcome. Highly recommended for families looking to enjoy an authentic Punjabi meal in a comfortable, elegant setting!
I was in Artesia for work today and had a sudden craving for Indian food, so I decided to check out Curry Loungr. I tried a few of their most popular dishes, and wow, this place did not disappoint! The butter chicken and chicken tikka masala were both incredible—so flavorful and perfectly spiced. I also sampled the vegetarian cauliflower, which was amazing, and of course, the garlic naan was out of this world! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend!
