The Hyderabad House has quickly become a favorite of my girlfriend and I when it comes to authentic Indian cuisine. The service is excellent, and the waiter we've had the last 2 times was very interested in regards to whether we enjoyed our food or not, and was very attentive to our needs and very polite. He has also been very good at making suggestions for us to try new things. Our food was delivered to us very quickly, which we were impressed/pleased by. As for atmosphere, the atmosphere is minimalist in nature, but very calming, laid-back, and relaxing with the white walls and the wood wicker suspended light fixtures. They have flat screen TV playing cricket games, and Indian commercials, which added a certain amount of atmosphere. But the food is definitely exceptional. The garlic naan and butter naan are delicious. The Afganhi Curry and Butter Masala are smooth, creamy, and flavorful. Next door to the restaurant they have a ice cream parlor/bakery/dessert shop called "Kwality", which is not only a clever play on words, but lives up to it's name- Quality. My experiences with Hyderabad House have been nothing but pleasent and accomodating, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine.
2/25/2025 Early Tuesday evening. I have traveled the world. This is the best Indian food I have found in America!!! Delicious!!! Perfectly spiced!! Will definitely be back again when traveling through Indianapolis. So, I returned again on 3/8/2025. Everything I ate was fabulous!!! It was a very busy Saturday night. Service was fantastic. My meal was served expeditiously. Ordered two different dishes this time, one with lamb, the other with chicken, samosas, tea, and garlic naan. My meal was topped off with a piece of Pistachio cake. The cake was very fresh, moist and appealing to the eyes. Thanks again for a wonderful experience!!! Much Thanks, Chef Presley
Outstanding food, unique and diverse in Indiana. The huge platter itself speaks the quality and quantity of the food.we’re so glad we took the time to dig a little deeper and discover it.The fusionend Middleast Mandi here is best as it can get, which serves three persons absolutely.Service was unlike anything you’ll find in US and you really feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door.
My wife and I love eating here. We’re not very familiar with SE Asian food and the servers always offer great suggestions. Very fast service. I just wish the seating were nicer; it’s a comfortable fast-casual feeling restaurant.
I'm rather inexperienced with Indian food but I'm always up for trying something new. Our waiter was very helpful explaining what the different items on the menu are and what is more traditional versus more of a fusion. The food was very good and arrived relatively quickly. The restaurant is well lit, clean, and colorful. I would definitely eat here again!
The food and service were top-notch. We tried lemon chicken soup, tandoori lamb chops, vegetable saag, and chicken tikka, and all were delicious. The server was very helpful in recommending dishes and customizing for us. Highly recommend.
Thank you for wonderful experience. Our wait staff offered great recommendations for us, newbies. The food was unique and amazing, full of flavors. If you’re a beer fan, try Kingfisher.
