I love this place and everything I've ever tried has been so tasty but my favorite is the chicken korma. The service is quick and friendly and the portions are generous for a good price. I always recommend Taj when people are craving Indian food.
We went there on Friday of Thanksgiving weekend and we're very thankful that we did. The service was friendly and immediate. The food was excellent, spiced wonderfully for flavor, the items we ate were not too hot, they were just right. There were five people in our party and everybody was quite happy with it. The breads were good the entrees were magnificent and there was even rice pudding! Their prices are very, very, good. The food for five people was less than $100.00 before tax and tip. For the quality of food you would expect to pay more. They have their own parking lot so no need to search for or pay for parking. Remember this, fancy food can be served without ambiance, white tablecloths, or music. The restaurant is basic and you order at the counter. But don't let that keep you away BECAUSE THE FOOD IS SO GOOD you wouldn't want to miss out on it.
BEST FOOD EVER loved the restaurant and the people who worked there were very kind and accommodating. Best Indian food ever please go here next time you want some
Absolutely devoured this delicious plate of food at Taj! Great portions for the price, I recommend the Thali Special.
I love this place. Growing up in la I learned what good food was. I’ve checked out all the Indian places in the area and by far this is the best. The food is delicious. The thali special is a total bang for your buck aswell. Give this place a try and you won’t regret it.
TAJ RESTAURANT NEW LOCATION @208 CEDAR ST, Chico 95928 New place is amazing with amazing food !! My favourite chicken briyani.. This is a beautiful place with authentic food and a traditional interior. Have been to this place every alternate day for the last four months, and the food and services never disappointed me. The curry exactly tastes like my mum's curries. My favourite all the time is BIRYANI, I just loved it. Additionally, I am a big fan of kababs and tandoori chicken. The chef Sunny bro always made them extra spicy on my request. And Mr Lal another chef always made special appetizers such as golgape, aloo tiki, charts with that Indian flavours which is unbeatable. This is highly recommend place for everyone especially for students who are looking for good quantity and quality of food. And request for making food mild or extra spicy!.
The food is on point, one of the best Indian restaurants I have eaten. The people are always nice and friendly. Warning, the chili chicken is addicting. I seem to find myself here every time I go down town.
