Masala House

Had such a great lunch today at Masala House in Raleigh, NC. This is a great place to get true Indian food. We had a group of four with my Aunt who has never eaten Indian cuisine. When we finished my Aunt said she absolutely loves the food. We had such a variety of dishes. Our favorite bread was the Peshawari Naan with mango chutney. I loved the Chicken soup, the broth is out of this world! My Mom said she could eat bowl after bowl of the vegetable soup, it was that good. The butter chicken was so delicious, it is by far the best I have even thus far. My aunt loved the Mango Jalfreeze, with just the right amount of heat. I had to taste test a little bit of each. Every plate was a wonderful taste of flavor that it would be hard for me to choose just one dish to be my favorite. I ordered the mimosa and was not disappointed at all it was sooooo good. With an little bit of mango ice cream to end the meal with. It was a great meal!

I am not a biggest fan of the spices, however this Indian restaurant is one of the best restaurants that I have been to. The butter chicken was so delicious. Loved their buttery nan and the rice was cooked right. The service was great. Definitely coming back.

I've only trusted getting my Indian food from one place and traveling to it tonight wasn't an option. My husband found this place on Google and asked if I wanted to give it a try, and this place did not disappoint. The food was amazing and I fell in love with the dishes they serve the food in. Staff were very friendly and let us enjoy our meal, instead of constantly interrupting us, but someone was always close by if we needed anything. Adding to my list of favorite places.

This place is amazing! Tried it for first time today. Went here lunch to celebrate Thanksgiving. And everything was excellent. Our server did an amazing job, I think his name is Bhanja (The name in the receipt). The foods we ordered were very delicious and tasty! Came out hot, on time and beautifully presented. 100% guaranteed! we’ll be back and try other different dish. This restaurant is now on our Top 3 List Best Restaurants in Raleigh Area to eat. Great job! Keep it up! We ordered Chicken wings, Chicken Masala, Special Biryani Rice, Garlic Naan, Chicken 65 and Chicken Dumplings and all were to die for! 10/10. Service 11/10 ❤️ Very Attentive and Hospitable.

If you're looking for a delicious Indian meal, I highly recommend this place. The Tandoori Mixed Grill was a standout—perfectly charred on the outside, juicy on the inside, and bursting with aromatic spices. The vibrant curry sauce complemented it beautifully. All the curries were rich and complex, especially the creamy butter chicken. It was kids favourite. Don’t miss the dumplings. The delicate wrappers encase savory fillings, and the tangy dipping sauce adds the perfect kick. The portions are generous, and the presentation shows the care put into each dish. Combined with attentive service, this place offers a truly memorable dining experience. 10 out of 5!

We visited on a Friday night and enjoyed a delicious meal. My favorite was the chicken korma and the tikka masala. Overall, very flavorful. The service could improve and we did have to request the complimentary crackers and the rice that came with the dishes.

This gem of a restaurant fills the restaurant void in N. Raleigh. We really enjoyed our experience. Who knew having a 6p reservation was a good idea? We were seated immediately and placed our order within 10 minutes. This restaurant was super busy, which is why no one checke on us once the food arrived. We loved the flavors, freshness, and quantity of the food. There were lots of options to choose from. I thought the prices were very reasonable./The atmosphere was very light and bright... not stuffy. Will definitely be back!
