First time eating here. Dinner started with a really cool scent diffuser where they brought out a small cup filled with spices and dropped dry ice in, filling the table with a warm, curry-like aroma. A unique experience for sure. The interior is really nice, with two separate dining areas. Since we arrived early, we got seated alone in a quieter section, which made the whole dinner feel a lot more relaxed. Service was great. We mostly followed their recommendations and tried the Karampodi Cauliflower, Palak Paneer Baklava, and pan-seared scallops to start, then moved on to the Kashmiri Lamb Shank, Chilean Sea Bass Moilee, and Chur Chur Paratha for the main course. We also ordered a couple of mocktails. The Guava Sunrise and Mango Lychee Mojito were both really good. They even folded the straw wrappers into little hearts, which was a small touch but made the night feel a bit more special. Portions were a little unexpected. The small plates were actually pretty big, and the large plate we ordered felt more like a small plate. That said, everything tasted great and the pacing they brought out the food was perfect. We were way too full for dessert but would definitely come back to try more.

This place may be the best Indian restaurant in Raleigh. It is nothing short of incredible. The restaurant is beautiful and very eloquent. The service is first class and very customer friendly. Wonderful people working here and taking great care of you. The menu is incredible and the food taste so amazing . We love Indian food and this is truly one of the best we have ever experienced. We love the presentation too .....everything is plated beautifully. The cocktails are also amazing and even dessert is unique and tasty. This place is a must try.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jalwa Indian Bistro and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. We made a reservation prior to our visit because we were going with large party. The decor was warm and inviting, creating a comfortable and stylish environment that made the meal even more enjoyable. The service was exceptional. The staff was kind and also incredibly friendly, making sure our every need was met with a smile, they really made our experience feel personal explaining each dish and the preparation process. As for the food, I would say if you’re really looking into something traditional or authentic then this place might not be right for you. The food is more like a fusion it’s unique. Each item was beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into every dish. They also have a bartender and many drinks options too.

After living in the USA for 10 years, we can confidently say we have never experienced food like we had at this place. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with exceptional customer service.
