Bay Leaf is hands down one of our absolute favorite restaurants in the area! The food is consistently delicious, flavorful, and clearly made with love. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared, and you can taste the quality in every bite. We’ve tried a variety of items on the menu and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff always make us feel at home. Whether we’re dining in or taking out, the service is prompt, kind, and attentive. It’s rare to find a spot that feels like both a hidden gem and a reliable favorite—but Bay Leaf is exactly that.
Just wow! We were not that hungry so didn't order much but every thing we ordered was very flavorful. They're paneer hariyali had the right amount of marination. Ultra soft. Their salteed buttermilk was too good. Their chili garlic Naan was so so so soft. Just amazing! The staff was also very courteous and attentive. They entertained our toddler as well.
Great food! Maxwell gave us great recommendations. Had the mixed veg pakora, chicken korma, eggplant (baingan bartha), and chicken 65 biryani with raita. All super delicious!
Ok.. everyone who loves Indian food that tastes like home cooked food.. then this is the place.. Bayleaf I have tried both brunch buffet and a la carte and loved both .. the gulab jamun was a clear clear winner.. they also had manchow soup , mango Kheer (rice pudding) which was 🤩🤩⭐️. That gulab Jamoon tasted just like mom’s food
Went for the buffet lunch last Saturday. There was a huge variety of vegetarian anbd non-vegetarian dishes, and the food was tasty. I would have preferred it to be a little spicier and more authentic but it was still very good. Dessert too, gulab jamuns and kheer (rice pudding) were excellent. The restaurant is very well appointed and sunny. The decor is very pleasing and the bathrooms were spotless. My waiter, Maxwell was extremely pleasant and friendly. I ordered a couple of dishes for takeout, lamb rogan josh and chicken Chettinad - medium to spicy - and they were EXCELLENT! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
After a tiring day at the zoo, we (a group) decided to have an early dinner and chose this place. This place is right downtown so you will have to find some street parking spaces. To start with 5 star food and 5 star customer service. It was not crowded when we got there (during a weekday). We ordered a variety of entrés. I have to say everything was delicious and to top it off there wasn't much delay in getting the food on the table as well. Very neat setup, clean and ambient atmosphere. Kudos to the staff as well. Price you may find a little on the higher side which is expected though for any downtown restaurants.
The service was friendly and efficient. The cuisine was delicious. This is my new favorite spot for Indian!
