The Order is an absolute gem in South Orange. The moment you walk in, you feel the warmth of a family run restaurant that truly cares. The space is stunning, the service is kind and attentive, and the food is out of this world. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. And the coffee is easily the best in town. Every detail is thoughtful, from the plating to the welcoming vibe. This place stands out in every way.
Great service! We had the place to ourselves for about 45 minutes. Highly suggest 8am on a Tuesday. We shared the chocolate chip banana bread to start and we were full from our hit drinks that we could have stopped there! Everything was hot and presentation was 10/10. Highly recommend! Support local!
First time at this place. And wow they left an impression! 10 out of 10 service and mannerisms. They make you feel very comfortable! Food was flavorful! Vibe and atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. A Perfect spot for brunch! The chai latte was very flavorful and you can taste the spices. The Matcha was A HIT! Dirty matcha was phenomenal. Would recommend the Strawberry matcha with oatly milk and no sugar it was so refreshing. See you soon!
The food was really good, the people that work here are really nice and are always trying to make you feel good. Butter biscuits are AMAZING! First time going there and it's already in my top 5 brunch in New Jersey!
Went here after seeing photos of the chicken & waffles on Google when I was hungry this morning. I was ready for a typical cute brunch spot that looked cute with average food, but this place exceeded this expectation right off the bat. We got a matcha latte, white mocha latte, the “Harry” chicken sandwich, and “Weasley” chicken and waffles. The latte art was impeccable and though both drinks were good, the white mocha was one of the best I’ve ever had. The food was even better. For the Weasley, the waffle quality was so rich and decadent, the fried chicken was chrispy with a slight kick that was complimented perfectly with the blueberry compote on top. Will return here for this dish alone. The chicken sandwich was also very yummy. It has a nice kick from the aioli on top and had good amount of both veggies and chicken. We got this with a side of regular fries and the seasoning was so perfectly seasoned with a Cajun type seasoning. Portions were very filling. The decor was very cute and girl coded. The staff was so kind, attentive & welcoming, especially our waiter. A perfect brunch or date/double date place (especially all for ~50$ )
I love! Love! Love! This place! I travel from Chicago to New Jersey frequently and every time I’m in town I eat here for breakfast, brunch or lunch. The food is always fresh the in house drinks are to perfection. The diner has indoor/outdoor setting intimate on the corner. Great place I highly suggests even travelers. They have the best coffee thus far and I’m a coffee connoisseur!
marocchino was AMAZING, absolutely delish, royal was good as well but i would probably try something different next time, the sour dough was super yum though !! went on the weekend so there was a bit of a wait and we had to wait longer than they had originally told us.
