Unexpected gem in Santa Fe! Being from Jersey and on vacation, I didn’t expect to find such authentic and flavorful South Indian food here. The rasam, dosa, and especially the idli fries were fantastic—perfectly spiced and full of flavor. The service was good, and the whole experience felt warm and welcoming. Thank you, Paper Dosa, for a delicious and memorable meal!
Wow… a friend recommended this restaurant and I was accommodated with a place at the Communal Table. The food and service were excellent and their Dosa one of the best I’ve had. I live in New York City where Indian restaurants are plentiful. Paper Dosa is top notch delicious 👍
Oh my, where should I start. Had the best South Indian food for my Birthday. Hector hands-down qualifies as a Kongu naatu Chef. Prawn thokku and chicken Nilgiri gets my heart. Side sambar says it all, most authentic south indian condiments. Greg did a grear service for us.
A singularly exceptional dining experience, one of the best we have ever had. The quality, variety, and flavor of the dishes on the tasting menu was incredible and speak for themselves. Perhaps what was even more impressive was how genuinely happy everyone was, the camaraderie between the greeter, service staff, and what we could see of the cooks contributed greatly to the welcoming and lively atmosphere here. The whole evening felt like being at your best friend's dinner party. Lezly at the bar was awesome, knew the full menu and kept making sure we were having a good time. It was a great shame we weren't in Sante Fe longer, Paper Dosa will be one of if not the first restaurant we have to stop at again next time we are in town! Wish I could give it more than five stars in every category.
AMAZING. AMAZING. AMAZING. This was by far the BEST Indian food I've ever had (we've had a lot). Gluten-free and Vegan? They got you. Everything fresh, delious, perfect portions. Dosa and Uttapam are huge.
It’s a delight to say this restaurant in my home town has Indian food that rivals anywhere in the world (maybe not London or India). It’s an immense delight to have food of a different variety than the stock set of London / Punjab North Indian food dominating western menus for “Indian food”. There is another South Indian restaurant of great fame thanks to the Jonathan Gold feature in Los Angeles Times and this restaurant blows it out of the water. Please enjoy a tad of New Mexico Indian fusion with a green chile cheese dosa that elevates green chile to levels it may have never reached in a quesadilla.
The BEST vegetarian with Indian food we've had so far!! And we've tried a lot of Indian places! Kudos to chef Paul Raj for an amazing venture with delicious food and super management 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 We ALWAYS eat here whenever we're visiting Santa Fe, it's our family favorite!
