Everything is so good. I’ve had the corn chowder with shrimp (came with 1 giant shrimp which felt like a good ratio to me, I cup it up), Chicken tikka, butter chicken, Malai Dumplings, and the sweet and sour chicken. Mango lassi is also 👌👌
I have travelled to India MANY times and the very best Indian food is made in friends homes. Chef Paddy and his staff makes you feel like you’re a guest in their home. His creative meals are as good or better than anywhere I’ve eaten including friends homes in India. I highly recommend Tulsi! I haven’t tried everything on the menu yet, but so far EVERYTHING is the best. Deva S
Fantastic!!! So happy to see this place open and bringing such wonderful Indian food to our community! I was a frequent customer at Raaga and am very familiar with chef Paddy’s incredible cooking! I’m very, very pleased with my lunch. The saffron rice complimented my delicious chicken tikka masala entree perfectly. The medium spice was just right. The menu is loaded with many great options, so I’ll be back to order my way through the entire menu!!!
Tulsi Indian Restaurant in Santa Fe, New Mexico, offers an authentic culinary journey through India’s diverse flavors. Helmed by Chef Paddy Rawal, a Mumbai native with roots in the vibrant neighborhoods of Colaba and Juhu, the restaurant brings traditional Indian cuisine to life in the heart of Santa Fe. The menu features a variety of dishes that showcase the rich tapestry of Indian cooking. One standout is the Rajasthani Laal Maas, a fiery red mutton curry renowned for its deep, complex flavors. Tulsi’s rendition of this classic dish is exceptional, offering tender meat enveloped in a robust, spicy gravy that captures the essence of Rajasthan’s culinary heritage. Complementing the Laal Maas is their tandoori naan—soft, fluffy, and with just the right amount of char from the tandoor, making it an ideal accompaniment to the hearty curry. Beyond these highlights, Tulsi’s menu includes a range of traditional favorites, each prepared with a commitment to authenticity and flavor. The restaurant’s dedication to quality and genuine representation of Indian cuisine has earned it a reputation as a must-visit dining destination in Santa Fe. Whether you’re a connoisseur of Indian food or new to its delights, Tulsi promises a memorable and satisfying experience.
Tulsi has quickly become our favorite date spot in Santa Fe! The food is always excellent as is the service. We love the Chicken Korma, and recently tried the Shrimp and Corn Chowder which is fantastic as well. Highly recommend, best Indian food in town!
Best Indian food I've ever had! My brother in law and I slpit 3 entries which were talking all delicious. Paddy's Chicken Ticka Marsala, the roasted eggplant and the lamb with onions and peppers. We got the chicken and lamb with medium heat. Wonderful but I might try the hot next time. The chef, Paddy, checked on us several times, super nice guy. Definitely will go again!
Absolutely top notch Indian restaurant in terms of food quality, taste, ambience, staff behaviour and cleanliness. This is perhaps the best Indian cuisine I have ever experienced.
