Little India in Simsbury serves some truly great food. The flavors are authentic, and you can tell they put love into every dish. I’ve eaten at many Indian restaurants, both across the U.S. and internationally, and this place holds its own. Sure, the service can be slow sometimes, especially for pickup orders, but that’s part of the charm of a small-town, family-run spot. Anything fast doesn’t usually last places like this take their time, and it shows in the quality of the food. That said, a little renovation and some community involvement could take it to the next level. It’s a gem that deserves even more local support. With a bit of a refresh, it could easily become a standout destination. Either way, I’ve never left disappointed, and I’ll keep coming back.
I had the best lunch with my daughter and granddaughters! The food was amazing and the service was exceptional! If you haven’t been here you definitely need to try it!
My experience here was phenomenal! I came with my mom, first time here, and we didn’t know what to expect. The service was great, the food (chicken korma and aloo gobi) was excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. 10/10 would recommend!
This place is wonderful! The design and decor is nice and the seats are comfy. The service is quick, and they’re very kind. The food is phenomenal!!! So good, definitely worth the visit!
The waitress/ lady behind the counter is lovely and very accommodating. My girlfriend and I had to wait a little while for our takeout food to be ready so she had us sit down and brought out some complementary appetizers while we waited. My favorite is the butter chicken wrap but you can’t go wrong with the lamb or chicken masala. My favorite appetizer are the dumplings with the sauce that comes with them.
My family and I enjoy getting takeout from here occasionally. The food and service is very good but the interior decor is dark and not very inviting to have a sit down meal. Wouldn’t take too much to brighten it up with lighting and a little background music.
This was my 3rd time here and I brought my partner this time since we both love Indian food. The food was great and the service was also so wonderful. Our server made the experience even better and she was so sweet and helpful. We will most definitely be making this a regular dinner spot in our rotation ❤️
