I got their to go lunch here running from 11AM-4PM and for the amount of food for the price it was amazing. I got the lamb lunch platter with the saag paneer side and the black dal. Everything I had was amazing!! Tbh this is one of the best lamb curries i’ve ever had. My friends’ also got the lamb curry platter rated it not as high 3/5 and 4.5/5. They said it could’ve been more tender.
Small yet comfortable; the dimmed lighting and tonally-rich music shapes a surreal, soothing atmosphere. The service feels family run; they were calm and patient. And of course, the food is richly spiced and sauced. The mutton chettinad had a good balance of savoriness and spiciness. The quality of the cooking is especially impressive considering how large the menu is; new meals to look forward to next time.
The place reminded me and my family of the most delicious dishes straight from Delhi. Everything from the classical jeera rice to the decadent and flavorful chicken biriyani was amazingly delicious and tasty. I thank the uncle who let us in after everyone had left. He loved making people enjoy food. He made me and my family feel at home.
The place is small and cozy, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s not expensive at all, yet it still manages to make you feel like you’re dining at a high-end, fancy restaurant. I loved that about it! The dishes are beautifully spiced, offering the perfect balance of flavors for anyone who enjoys a bit of heat.
I’ve eaten here a few times, both in the restaurant and through delivery, and it’s always been great. The food is full of flavor—the chicken tikka masala is rich and creamy, and everything is cooked just right. Plus, it’s right next to Penn Station, making it a perfect spot to grab a meal before heading home.
Definitely recommend this place to All people craving for Indian food. Tarak is amazing, so humble and smiling person managing everything. Went to this branch of Patiala Indian Grill and gosh the food was just out of the world, added on to the NY trip that we had with our parents. We ordered Dal Tadka, Kadhai Paneer and The taste of both the entrees was so good, it was served hot and fresh. Even the Breads (Naan and Roti) were so crispy and tasty.
Visiting NYC for first time from Texas, I am so grateful that we ate Pakistani food at this place first. Excellent food, excellent service! Mulligatawny soup was very good! Biryani and then Mughalai patiala tikka were no. 1. Shrimp and butter chicken were pretty delicious too.
