What an amazing lunch! My recent dining experience at Patiala was truly exceptional. I had the pleasure of enjoying paneer Tikka Masala and a unique dish featuring the shrimp with cashews and saffron curry. The paneer tikka masala was rich and flavorful, with perfectly marinated paneer in a creamy tomato sauce. The shrimp dish was equally impressive, with the saffron adding a delightful aromatic touch and the cashews providing a satisfying crunch. The service was outstanding, with Aniket and the entire staff being incredibly attentive and friendly. Overall, Patiala offers a fantastic blend of delicious food and warm hospitality.
I had an amazing dining experience at Patiala Indian Grill & Bar! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious each dish was rich in flavor and perfectly spiced. A special shoutout to our waiter, Dalston, who provided exceptional service. He was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. He checked in on us just the right amount, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. His professionalism and warm demeanor truly elevated our experience. If you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine with top-tier service, Patiala Indian Grill & Bar is the place to go. Highly recommend!
Amazingly delicious North Indian Punjabi food at this restaurant. The grilled dishes are the standouts. The one dish with cheese stuffed mushrooms was decadently good. Their menu is extensive so well worth multiple visits. The Estrella Galicia lager on draft served in a chilled glass was a nice touch. Highly recommended!
A warm vibe, great ambience and comfortable seating. The food comes out fairly quickly. All dishes that we ordered did not have excess masala’s or spices and felt like cooked at home. They have a great bar and some unusual yet impactful cocktails to choose from
First time at Patiala Indian Grill & Bar, and wow — we were not ready for the heat, but we loved every second of it! The Chicken Vindaloo? If you’re not prepared, it will light you up. Spicy, bold, and absolutely delicious — the kind of dish that punishes you in the best way possible. On the other hand, the Dum Biryani had a more manageable kick, making it easy to devour while still bringing that spice we were craving. We went with chicken, and it was fall-apart tender and packed with flavor. The Garlic Naan and Garlic Chili Naan were a must—perfect for scooping up every bit of those incredible sauces. The Onion Bhajia immediately reminded me of bacalaitos (shoutout to my fellow Puerto Ricans), crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. The Chicken 65? We got creative and stuffed it into the naan, basically making little spicy chicken wraps. No regrets. And then there were the Szechuan Spring Rolls — spicier than a text from your ex at 2 AM, and honestly, way more satisfying. The food was top-tier, but the staff? Even better. Super kind, welcoming, and attentive. This was our first visit, but definitely not our last. Can’t wait to come back!
We stopped in for lunch while my friend was visiting from Connecticut, and I commuted down from Harlem. Despite the rainy weather, we were greeted like rays of sunshine as we walked into this restaurant. The decor and atmosphere transported us to a beautiful, magical place. Given our warm welcome we felt comfortable throughout our visit. Being mindful of the lunch hour, our food arrived quickly, and it was absolutely delicious. The servings were generous, so we both took doggy bags home to enjoy later. Dalston was our waiter, and he was attentive, ensuring our sparkling water was always replenished and serving us with the utmost professionalism. I highly recommend this gem located between the Financial District and Midtown Manhattan.
