If you're craving authentic Punjabi food, this is the place to go. Every dish brings out the bold, comforting flavors of North India. This was our second visit, and once again, the food did not disappoint. We stayed with the vegetarian option and enjoyed the Daal Makhani and Bhindi Masala with Garlic Naan – perfectly spiced, cooked to perfection, and incredibly satisfying. The consistency in both food quality and service makes this place a real gem. The staff is always smiling, attentive, and consistently checks in to ensure you’re having a great experience – it's rare to find service this genuine and top-notch. Do yourself a favor and end your meal with their Chai – it’s the perfect finish to a fantastic, authentic Punjabi dining experience. Highly recommended!
The service was great and the food was well flavored, but could've have been spicier to me; ordered the hottest it could go and was mildly warm at best. Additionally, the soft drinks are just out of a can which is disappointing but understandable. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and is a great change of pace from the other restaurants nearby.
The food was great and the man that waited on us was very nice. He made sure we were always good and was just nice to be around. He was so cheery and upbeat. The food was delicious, they could make it not spicy for my husband and spicy for me.
I recently placed a pickup order at Taj Mahal Bar and Grill , and the experience was fantastic. The food was flavorful and authentic, capturing the true essence of North Indian cuisine. The spices were perfectly balanced, and the dishes were served hot and fresh. Everything was well-packaged, ensuring that nothing spilled or got soggy during transit.I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious Indian food to enjoy at home!
Loved their food! Clean restaurant (and bathroom) We had the ginger chicken, and the chicken curry and the bhaturra bread and garlic naan... everything was flavorful and hot. The only slight complaint is I wish the actual spice level was hotter. We got a 5 out of 6 and it was more like a 2-3 in reality. We like our food super spicy. Their food was so good though I can't take a star off. Friendly, warm with a nice ambiance.. We will definitely be back.
I usually stop by Taj Mahal three 3x's a month. The food is well worth the price and all meats are tender. Thank you so much for the authentic Indian food. Bless up!
This restaurant is as close as it gets to North Indian Punjabi food. Very Authentic taste. I live in NJ where you get the best of the Indian food and this place is nothing less than the best. The staff and the owner were very welcoming and gave personal attention to my needs. They did check if I liked the food or if they could do anything else. Off course the taste was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for better. Will go again for sure and will post some pictures then.
