Madrasdhaba has quickly become a favorite of mine. The food is absolutely delicious and filled with flavor. The paratha “tacos” are so much fun and really big portions. My favorite is the chana masala one. The veg korma and tikka masala as a dish are also favorites. Really excellent delicious food that I’ll keep coming back for!
HUGE portions. I made 3 meals out of the chicken biryani, no joke. One of if not the best Indian food in Austin. I wish this wasn’t so far from my place but I’ll start making trips out for this now. Also the samosas are the best I’ve ever had. Just amazing...
SO GOOD YALL! I’ve been to India and this biriyani took me back there on my first bite. Guys were so nice, food was fast, and the portions are huge! They have a nice little patio in the back too where you could sit and chill and bring doggies! It’s a bright yellow little truck next to the highway hard to miss. I highly recommend. I came for dinner twice this week so so good. Next time I will come a little later when it’s not too hot out and sit in the patio area.
I was not expecting this food to be this good from a food truck. Shows how much I know about Austin. I stopped by this spot before heading back to El Paso with a group of friends. I ordered the somosa's, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. The somosa's were the regular potato filled kind and was 2nd only to some I had in Singapore. The chicken tikka masala and basmati rice had a nice spice and incredibly tasty. Some of the best I've had in years. The garlic naan was probably the item that could have had the most improvement as it seemed like it wasn't made fresh but it still allowed for good taste. Would definitely recommend this spot!
This is truly some of the best, if not the best, Indian food in Austin. Pictured is the chicken 65 biryani, chicken biryani, and a mango lassi. Highly recommend!
Very friendly staff but more importantly very tasty food. The biryani is a must have and the whole experience is close to a Indian street food experience and makes you want to revisit.
Tried the Channa Masala Tacos and it blew my mind how good it was. The flavor, spice level, and paratha was a great combination together.
