You cannot go wrong with Bengal food! Lovely cozy place. All the people who works here so welcoming here. They have vegetarian menus of course we ordered the kafta and the veggie masala. The naan cilantro and garlic fantastic. Not heavy. The rice they made the perfect way!
I had the lunch special and it was amazing! The samosa was crispy and flavorful, and the chicken tikka masala was rich and creamy. Everything was fresh and perfectly spiced. Great portion for the price. I’ll definitely come back again! 🥰
Had lunch here. Very good food! We were informed that the vindaloo would be very spicy and we were happy that it indeed had some kick to it! So hard to find real spicy Asian food in US! Authentic food and both dishes were delicious.
The cuisine was exceptionally delectable. I indulged in the chicken curry, garlic naan, and vegetable samosas, all of which were exquisite. The service was satisfactory; the waiter was courteous, but there was a considerable wait for the food to arrive. The ambiance was warm and cozy, although individuals who prefer spacious environments may want to reconsider dining here. In summary, I would give this establishment a five-star rating.
Solid Indian food! I got the chicken vindaloo from here and they definitely don’t mess around with the spice here. Nonetheless, the flavor was great - spicy, rich, chicken wasn’t too dry. Inside the restaurant also looks quite nice and their prix fixe menu wasn’t too expensive either ($27 before tax and tip) which gives you an appetizer + main + dessert. I also appreciate that the rice just came with the dish without having to pay extra.
I love Bengal Tiger - I’ve visited a few times now, and it always hits the spot. Great food, super friendly service, and I really enjoy the cozy, family vibe. Definitely one of my go-to places!
Wow the new location is great! More seating and comfortable chairs, very clean and open, and nice bathrooms. And now accepting reservations which is really helpful for planning. The staff are still just as wonderful and the food is still great. Seems like the prices went up a dollar or two but the food is still great quality and portions. This is still my go-to for Indian if I’m staying within Manhattan!
