Random visit while walking past. It was a good deal as their lunch menu is about $20 per person with lots of options including vegetarian. Someone at the bus stop literally told me to go in because the food was so good! The service was excellent and the food was great, I had a mango Lassi for the first time and that was good too. The service was awesome, this is a little gem in the Gramercy area.

Every dish and drinks I had were so delicious! My only complaint was that I didn't have a larger stomach to order more! Can't wait to come back and try the other dishes! Make sure you get the Masala Chai, it is delicious!

It’s a nice Indian restaurant. I ordered samosa and chicken curry. It was delicious! And my husband ordered chicken biryani and he also loved it and also said that it was the best chicken biryani that he ever tried😊 we loved food and people there. They were nice and friendly. I wanna go back soon👍🏻

Ever since discovering this restaurant 2 weeks ago, we came 4 times. I don’t easily return to a restaurant and in fact I was disappointed by most Indian restaurants and by most restaurants in New York. This place is terrific and totally worth the money. No it’s not even close to my apartment but I’m willing to walk >20mins to come here. The service from the two waitresses and waiter is also impeccable. They remember us and they are very kind. Here’s my review of their other restaurant in upper east side— same quality here. I have eaten in hundreds of Indian restaurants (including a dozen in India). This is a humble place that does the job very well unlike the many fancier places that don’t see to know the basics. This city is so much pomp and circumstance that belies an absolute lack of taste and refinement. But I digress. it’s clear that the owner and the team care about the customers and want them to be happy. Recommended dishes: navrattan korma, Kashmiri rice, mughlai fish, Goan shrimp/fish.

Excellent service, fresh meal at an affordable price. Come during their lunch special (11am - 2:30pm) to get half off ALL food! The atmosphere is casual but inviting, with fun Bollywood music calmly in the background. The tables and decorations are beautiful and functional as well. The staff greeted us well, was patient with our large group (12) and even gave small keychain keepsakes. The owner personally asked us about the food and spice level, and even told us jokes.

I can not believe, for the number of times we've been here, that I never had the vindaloo. Only defense, we've only gone for lunch and I will usually order vindaloo for dinner. At any rate, the goat vindaloo is transcendent. Seriously fantastic. Okay - hands down, the spinach soup is the best Indian soup I've ever had. We only went for lunch, when everything is 50% off. But, after our first visit, we went back every single day during our visit for more spinach soup! If it is important to you, they have many vegan items, including the spinach soup. The waitstaff here is super friendly and accommodating - they really went out of their way to make us feel at home. They're very attentive and almost everyone would come by to say hello to my daughter after our first visit. Everything is made fresh, so the wait time for food is a little longer than at some places, but the wait is worth it! Over the course of our visits we had several appetizers - Vegetable Samosa, Fish Mughlai, Chicken Tikka and the Aloo Papri Chaat. The Samosa was pretty standard for a mid-range Indian restaurant. The Fish Mughlai and Chicken Tikka were small but extremely good - definitely better than my expectation. The Aloo Papri Chaat was a new dish for me - it was superb. We also had the plain Naan, the Keema Naan and the Poori. I had no complaints about any of the breads. They were all good and met my expectations. If that sounds like a lukewarm endorsement, I should say that I feel like Naan is something you either get right, or you don't. I've never had Naan that I thought was better than anywhere else - it is either delicious or close to inedible. I hope that in our next visit to the city that we'll be able to visit for dinner!

We are from Atlanta and were searching for a great Indian restaurant and boy did we find one. Roman, Joseph, Ragini, and Kevin were the absolute best. They were so sweet and and had the best raita I have ever had. We ordered the chicken 65, korma, tikka masala, and Chettinad. Every single one of the dishes we ordered were some of the best we have ever had and we have had dozens of different restaurants’ recipes. This is a MUST in NYC if you are here. Located right off the Brooklyn Bridge in the financial district i wouldn't recommend another Indian restaurant over this one. Could mot recommend enough. I took pictures of the dessert a little too late 😂
