Just like the Indian food from back home in England. Amazing quality, great taste and fresh made to order naan breads! This is really authentic and the owner, Sandy, is a lovely character. Bowls, plates or A La Carte options.
Very happy to see The Curry Leaf back! I’m overall super satisfied that it is as delicious as I remembered years ago! Quick service with quality food that will have you full with your last bite!
This place was so delicious!! Not to mention fast and amazing service. The staff were so kind and friendly they even made sure I had a scrumptious mango smoothie to take and try!! Very generous with the portions and prices are perfect! The garlic naan bread is a must try :)
This is hands down the best Indian food I've had! From the moment we entered, the service was outstanding—polite, fast, and friendly. The food was bursting with flavor. The paneer tikka was so tender, and the dal makhani was rich and creamy. The restaurant's ambiance was beautiful, with authentic touches that transported me straight to India. Definitely coming back!
This was my first time eating Indian food so I don’t have anything to compare it with. My buddy and I were in on a Saturday and although they were still closed the owner let us in earlier. This is a small restaurant with few tables but I really enjoyed the ambiance. Previous to the Curry Leaf we were up in Thousand Oaks in a place called Himalaya and we had to leave the place because of the way the place was decorated. The Curry Leaf is simple and all about the food. Staff was wonderful for us, timing was good and they were on top of things. The owner is a character. I was hoping he would’ve been a little more helpful with helping us to explain the menu to us so we could make a wise decision on what to order but that wasn’t the case. Either way he gave us good customer service and made us feel very welcome. Price was a little on the high end but was well worth the money. We were the first ones at this place but were almost the last ones to start eating. Place was really busy and I would say we waited about 30-40 minutes for our food. Once our food arrived the wait was well worth it. The bread, the lamb curry and the rice were delicious. Portions were filling and leave you satisfied. Overall I was really satisfied with this place and will definitely be coming back for more. Staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Price Point ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cleanliness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sandy is the man! Our family is so glad he reopened. The new location and take out format is really easy and low key. We always love whatever we order and have tried pretty much everything on the menu. The menu items rotate every so often so you get to try different things with authentic flavor. Service is always friendly. We are so thankful for some real, excellent Indian food back in town!
Such nice people and amazing food. The man who served us gave us generous portions, and it was delicious. I had the saffron rice, mushrooms and potatoes, and a lentil dish. The Naan was fantastic, and he gave us some garlic cauliflower on the house. Awesome to have such a good Indian restaurant so close to home!
