My first time eating at Taste of India and I chose the right spot. This restaurant was very welcoming and understanding towards us. They offer varying meal options so that you won't be overwhelmed. The owner explained the dishes and offered suggestions which was very helpful for my party. They offer generous portions for the price. Thanks for a wonderful lunch !!!!
$16 for 3 entree combo (i chose 3 chicken entrees), biryani rice, salad, Naan. All the chicken was moist and tender, seemed pretty fresh. Friendly server.
I moved to Louisiana a couple years ago and miss this place sooo much!! Mama is so sweet. She always took care of me! One time my blood sugar dropped while i was waiting for my naan and she fixed me up a little plate so fast and sat with me to make sure i was ok. The food there is delicious! I canβt find it here like they make it! My favorites are vegetable korma - saag aloo - and chicken tiki masala!
Don't let the exterior fool you! It is really good! The owners are super sweet and hard working! My Husband likes it SUPER spicy so call ahead for a more homemade meal i.e. Vindaloo β‘ some dishes need more time to prepare. But if you want the usuals (popular) dishes that are mild or just want to try Indian for the first time, they have them ready and can help you decide. Their naan is AWESOME too!! My faves are the chicken curry, tandoori and KormaππΌβ€
Wonderful food here! Very flavorful Indian food. I ordered so much because everything on the menu looked so good! (And they were!!!!)
I got three-entrees combo with a garlic naan. The foods were really good especially the red chicken with onion. Definitely will come back to try other naans
One of the best places for eating your curry, rice and naan. I ate in many places in So. Cal and finally ready for my review for their unique taste. You feel refreshed when eating their chicken butter masala and find it different than many places. I usually find all Indian places same taste for chicken butter masala recipe but you can feel nutty flavors in the curry. Chicken curry was also refreshing made from home masalas, light on stomach and chicken well tendered and not hold. Prices are also affordable to buy 2-3 curries at $15. Highly recommend stopping by if you are driving on 405 and needs something quick.
