Akbar Restaurant

This quiet and authentic Indian restaurant features great decorative designed and service. This is a great place to dine as a family. They serve a buffet and dishes. Would recommend to vegetarians and vegans. The owner was our waiter and was very polite and respectful. I loved the atmosphere. The food was Exquisite and flavorful as there was just the right amount of everything.

I thought the food was really excellent and well priced. Seems somewhat sketchy to go down to the basement but you should go! It’s worth going down. I enjoyed the decor. Went when it was pretty empty so I had attentive service.

Every human being deserves at least one chance to come to this restaurant and to eat this spicy chicken korma. I think it’s a human right. And it’s not fair for anyone to be denied this extreme privilege. To anyone who reads this, I wish you a great day and a great life and I promise you if you come to this restaurant, it will change your life. Enjoy it. When you need to chow down, Akbar is the only one in town.

Came here with my boyfriend and the food was absolutely amazing! Well seasoned, beautifully decorated and clean restaurant, as well as a very attentive server. When we’re back in Baltimore we will be back!

Lunch buffet, good North Indian/ Mughlai spread with vegetarian options. Reasonably priced with ample street parking. Paneer dishes are very tasty, chicken variety was impressive. Good service and ambience is good for conversations. Had the lunch buffet with colleagues from work. Very stuffed and satisfied (photos tell the story). Will return.
